"Someday we'll find it, the Rainbow Connection. The lover, the douchebag, and me."

Haha. I heard that on an old episode of SNL the other night. Fun stuff! Justin Timberlake and Kermit the frog. It can't get better than that(or can it?)!
Today was CAMO day at school. I was "camo chic" or that's what people in first called me. Haha, I was stylin'...I guess.
In math, Belton made us do work! WTF? He's goin' nuts. But, it wasn't too hard. I think the whole not-doing-anything-for-three-days finally got to him. He did, however, let us go to the teachers lounge and get food. Yay!
English was kinda fun. We read one of the Canterbury Tales aloud. It was the Pardoner's tale. Good thing, since on Tuesday I have to be the Pardoner. I was the narrator. It was effing hilarious. I had to read all of the "he said,"s and "he replied", fun times.
WH we had a test, and 18 vocab words to do. But the words had REALLY long definitions. So it took me the whole time to finish both.
I skipped lunch, again, and went to work on the paper. Ryan was in there, so I had someone to talk to. Adam Jerrald was also in there...wtf? Anyway...
Babysitting was ok. I read and then I fell asleep. I woke up just in time to leave. YESA!

Tonight, I haven't done much of anything. I went to Wally World a little while ago to find some black flip-flops. No luck. BUUUT I came home the long way (Franklin road) and heard JOHN MAYER on the radio. He was singing "Daughters". I didn't even know it was a single!! SCORE SCORE! Pumped that I got tired of that cd in my car, and switched to the radio. John Mayer *drool*.

Tomorrow is College/Hat day at school. Better believe I'll be rockin' out som App. gear. OOO that reminds me. I got a BIG packet from App. today!! It had a LOT of stuff. It had a bunch of stuff about scholorships and then the application. I've been sent applications from NYU, Michigan State, UNC-W, and W&M. WTF? NYU and MS? I'm not smart?! I guess they got me mixed up with another Courtney Council. Ohh well.

Since I'm pumped about hearing John Mayer on the radio, I will give you my FAVORITE song of his...

3X5
I'm writing you to
catch you up on places I've been
You held this letter
probably got excited, but there's nothing else inside it
didn't have a camera by my side this time
hopping I would see the world with both my eyes
maybe I will tell you all about it when I'm
in the mood to lose my way with words

Today skies are painted colors of a cowboy's cliché
And strange how clouds that look like mountains in the sky
are next to mountains anyway
Didn't have a camera by my side this time
Hoping I would see the world with both my eyes
Maybe I will tell you all about it when I'm
in the mood to lose my way
but let me say
You should have seen that sunrise with your own eyes
it brought me back to life
You'll be with me next time I go outside
just no more 3x5's

Guess you had to be there
Guess you had to be with me

Today I finally overcame
tryin' to fit the world inside a picture frame
Maybe I will tell you all about it when I'm in the mood to
lose my way but let me say
You should have seen that sunrise with your own eyes
it brought me back to life
You'll be with me next time I go outside
no more 3x5's
just no more 3x5's

Ummmmm. Posted by Hello

Somewhere between 6th and +/- the square root.

Whoa. I just finished my virtue/vice essay for English. SOOOO glad I finally finished it!
Today was a good day, I guess.
Math was hard this morning. Belton made us do some REALLY hard word problems. But, we ended up doing them as a group (so we copied the answers out of the 'cheat book'). HAHA. We all talked, too. I love how laid back it is in there.
In English, we read out letters aloud, and then guessed who the person was. Tasha had me, and I thought it was Chelsey the whole time. It was a really sweet letter. We hugged after she read it. It was really cool. Then, I had to read my letter to Josh. Everyone knew who it was after the second sentence.
WH we did a study guide. Woopdie do.
Lunch, I skipped. I went and worked on the paper, and then I stayed after school until 4 to get ALMOST done. I think tomorrow will be the last day of layout, then we can get this fucker out!
Babysitting was weird. I totally intended to do my essay, but I fell asleep. Oopsy.

Last night, I had an away message on AIM. It was a song that I THOUGHT was Slushie. Noppers. It was a song Tillman sang for journalism one time, but it was really The Old 97s. Hum.. So, yeah, he was right. So I downloaded the song, and then I found the lyrics. Enjoy!!

Designs On You - The Old 97s

Standin' on the corner of 6th and how to forget
Tryin' to do right by you all night, Annette.
You can go ahead and get married
And this'll be our secret thing.
I won't tell a soul except the people in the nightclub where I sing.
I don't wanna get you all worked up,
Except secretly I do.

I'd be lyin' if I said I didn't have designs on you.
I'd be lyin' if I said I didn't have designs on you.

Standin' on the corner of 6th and where do I go
The parade shut down now the rain is runnin' the show.
Where did all these people come from
And how soon can they leave?
Normally I'd be headin' to it
But I need to get some sleep
Though I do wish you'd come over but I'm warning you if you do

I'd be lyin' if I said I didn't have designs on you.
I'd be lyin' if I said I didn't have designs on you.

Standin on the corner of 6th and where do I get
Tryin' to do right by you all night, Annette.
This would only be an experiment
In things that could have been
And you can go ahead and get married
And it'll probably never happen again
I don't mean to make you excited except secretly I do.

I'd be lyin' if I said I didn't have designs on you.
I'd be lyin' if I said I didn't have designs on you.
I'd be lyin' if I said I didn't have designs on you.
I'd be lyin' if I said I didn't have designs on you.

BTW: If you don't watch One Tree Hill, YOU NEED TO!! I deem it, THE BOMB DIGGITY!

"Jab her with a Safety Pin"

Wow. That's an oxymoron.
Last night, after my last post, I still couldn't sleep. I wound up watching the "new" version of ANNIE. Just a fact: The new one sucks, the old one is MUCH better.
So, I went to sleep around 2:30. It's been a while since I did that. Since I went to bed later than usual, I got up later than usual. I got up at 6:30 am. Thank goodness that I got to wear PJs today. It was a day MADE for pajama day. It was rainy, and yucky, and nasty.
Today was also College Day for juniors and seniors. I didn't go, neither did Erika, Ash, Blood, or Larry. So in first period, all we did was talk. No one (literally) even opened up a math book today. It was great. Belton even told us about this codmedy club he went to over the weekend. An all-gay high school up north. What to thier cheerleaders say?? "We've got style, we've got class, our whole team takes it in the ASS!!!". Too good. We laughed REALLY hard at that one!!
English was so-so. There was no one in class, so we just helped out Mrs. Ridolfi and stuff. Tomorrow we have letters to read aloud to someone that we drew from a cup, and the letters have to be positive about that person. I got Josh Horton, the letter wasn't too hard to right, I just don't know a ton about him. I'm still wondering who has me...
WH was horrible. For some reason, I just DID NOT want to take notes, or do work in that class. And I'm pretty sure that at one point, I fell asleep during lecture. Oopsy. One funny thing that happend, Corey Scarce asked why, if the world is rotating around on it's axis all day, that people aren't walking weird, or upside-down or something. Mack said, "Um...GRAVITY" and I was just like DUHHH DUMBASS. Jason cracked up on that one!
Lunch was good. We laughed and stuff. Nothing to major.
Journalism was hectic. Megan Tilley TRIED to do something that I already knew how to do. So she was in my way. We were both getting on eachothers nerves, and I was SOOO glad when she left, finally. I stayed after until 5 today. I got some stuff done, but tomorrow, I'm going in at lunch and staying after until 4 to try to finish up my work. We REALLY need to get the gosh-darn paper out!
So that's pretty much it. I'm going to work on my virtue/vice essay, and watch Everwood, then SLEEP.

A good, good song.

Sometimes I think this cycle never ends
We slide from top to bottom and we turn and climb again
And it seems by the time that I have figured what it's worth
The squeaking of our skin against the steel has gotten worse

But if I move my place in line I'll lose
And I have waited the anticipation's got me glued

I am waiting for something to go wrong
I am waiting for familiar resolve

Sometimes it seems that I don't have the skills to recollect
The twists and turns of plot that turned us from lovers to friends
I am thinking I should take that volume back up off the shelf
And crack its weary spine and read to help remind myself

But if I move, my place in line, I'll lose
And I have waited the anticipation's got me glued

I am waiting for something to go wrong
I am waiting for familiar resolve
I am waiting for another repeat,
Another diet fed by crippling defeat
And I am waiting for that sense of relief
I am waiting for you to flee the scene
As if you held in your hand the smoking gun
And on the floor laid the one you said you loved...

And what's strange is they're all basically the same
So I don't ask names anymore

Sometimes I think this cycle never ends
We slide from top to bottom and we turn and climb again
And it seems by the time that I have figured what its worth
The squeaking of our skin against the steel has gotten worse

I'm going here one day, the Trevi Fountain in Italy.  Posted by Hello

Alas, earwax.

I couldn't sleep, so i decided to get caught up on my blog reading.
I read Emma's blog, Brad's, the Germ's and a new one. Mark Welker. I saw a link to his on Emma's blog. I love being introduced to new blogs. Especially to people whom I know [of], but havn't really ever spoken/interacted to/with. Like, I thought for a long time that Mark was a boring, weirdo, freak guy. Now, I know that he's kinda cool. Ahh, gotta love it.
I thought that this might be one of those profound blogs, one of those that takes 10 minutes of your time to read, and you feel either (A) still bored out of your effing mind after you read it or (B) still bored, but you have something to think about.
Maybe not. I just yawned, and I really do need to get some sleep, even thought I napped for 5 hours this afternoon.
*yawn*. I read Emma's blog about bad pop music. I am currently listening to the Princess Diarys 2 soundtrack (the Kelly Clarkson song), but before I was MOST DEF jammin' to some Franz Ferdinand and Death Cab for Cutie. Geez. That's weird...next up, Better than Ezra. Holy Cow. I'm going to sleep before I freak myself out.

Happy Day To Eat Dinner With Your Children Day!!
And no, that's a real holiday for Sep. 27, 2004.
Ohh baby, baby it's a wild world. Posted by Hello

Spectacularly Special Sunday

Wow, that's some alliteration right there!
Today, has been a good day.
I woke up at 9 am. That's actually good, I didn't want to sleep away this whole day.
I started my laundry, and just chilled in the basement, watching the big screen. I watched a bunch of MADEs on MTV. My all-time favorite is now the Mr. Northstar episode.
My dad went to Bojangles for us, so I had a chicken biscuit and it was YUMMY.
So, I washed all of my clothes, then my parents left to go to the market and to the drug store. YESA! See, when I take a shower, I like to listen to either the tv or just regular music. This requires me to turn my tv WAAAAY up, or move my computer speakers, and turn them WAAAAAY up. So, when they left, I got to listen to my music while gettin' clean!
Then, I had to do what I HATE to do. You see, I don't mind washing my clothes, drying them, even folding them. But what I DO hate is having to hang them all up. Ugh...
But, I got it all done. My closet is neat, and FULL. I have also come to the conclusion that I have too many clothes. My dad keeps telling me that I need to clean it out. But that would take a LONG time.
So that's pretty much it. I watched Father of the Bride on TBS, and fell asleep at the good part. When I woke up, The Wedding Singer was on...so I watched it for a while.
I'm totally pumped about this week in school. It's SPIRT WEEK at MAHS! That's right!!! Tomorrow, I will don my new pjs, and be ULTRA comfy while I am forced to sit in hard, uncomfy chairs and be forced to listen to 2 of my 4 teachers lecture...yay.
Ok, I think I'll read and then catch some Zs...see ya on the flip side!

Fun Times

Ok, I skipped a day of blogging.
School on Friday was fun.
In Math, we didn't do anything (literally). Belton put an assignment up on the board, but no one even opened thier book. We talked and LAUGHED for a soild 90 minutes. I really do like that class.
In English, half of the class was absent, and so we took our weekly quiz and then we talked. Mrs. R had this book called "The Conversation Piece"...just guess what it did.. So almost everyone took turns at "The Hot Seat". They went up, and said a number between 1 and 310. Then, with their number, they got that particular question, and then had to answer and explain it. It was some fun times, but hard questions. Thank goodness I didn't get called on.
In WH, again, over half of the class was absent, so we did four worksheets. The sheets were easy, so we finished really quick. Then, we all just talked again. We found out how Mack met his wife, and his future plans for his daughter when she reaches dating age....hum...
Journalism was nerve-racking. We are now TWO count 'em TWO weeks past our original production date. The paper is all laid out, and all that is left is putting the ads on the pages. HOLY SHIT. Mrs. Carson expects EACH of them to be placed, one by one. OMGsh, she wants to change the layout at the LAST minute. So, we tried to convince her to let us just work on it for the next paper. Any luck? NO. So she wants me to stay after school and place the ads on the page (why ME? Nan or Nicole actually KNOW how to do that...I screwed it up on Friday). I don't mind staying after, I just don't know how to do it, and I also have to babysit at 3:30-5:30 everyday. What am I supposed to do?? We need to get this damn paper out. Ugh...
OK so, enough of that.
Friday night, my parents wanted to go to Pizza Hut because they hadn't been in a long time. Mine was good, thier's sucked. So then we just came home and later I went to Relay for life.
It was a BLAST. I met Kat there with Carrie and Tyler. Then we met up with Blake and Ryan and LAURA and Randy. After a while, I was walking around with everyone, and we saw Ash and Mikel!!! Ohh yeah!
I met Mikel's little bros, his cousin, and another girl and her boyfriend (or something like that). It was some MAJOR fun times. We walked, I met Willard Marion (HOTTNESS!!). Will looks like John Mayer....holy cow......*drool*.
After a while, Mikel and Ash went to their tent to chill and I was MAJOR tired, so I came home.
Today, I woke up at like, 1:30 pm. I went to bed atound midnight...I guess I was more tired than I thought. I talked to Germ for a few minutes, then I had to get in the shower.
I went to Winston with my parents. I didn't really want to go with my parents, I wanted to go with a friend. But it worked out well. I got all of my shopping done for a while. I got some jeans, khakis, a blue jean skirt (yes, ANOTHER one), and a red shirt with LIME green pj pants (for pajama day). HAHA, my pjs...I'll be STYLIN' on pajama day, lemme tell ya!
So now I'm watching what seems to be a marathon of Road Rules on MTV. I'm also really tired again. I think I'll go to sleep now...

Terriffic Thursday

Whoa...I'm REALLY tired, so my normal, crappy quality blog will be more crappy tonight.
First, we'll start with first period.
Math was ok today. We "finished our work" (copied the problems out of the cheat book) and then we chilled and did the crossword.
English, we did a lot. That class today was NEVER GOING TO END. I swear, it felt like we were in there for like, 4 hours. We went over a BUNCH of stuff that's due next week. I have to write a letter to Josh Horton about how nice, and kind he is. I also have to write a paper about the virtues and vices that we did last week. Then we did GRAMMAR...ugh...then we had a sheet with about 1200 words that we hd to go over in the last 16 minutes of class. I was writing like a madman.
Then comes WH. We had a test today. I did NOT study for this test, therefore, I was screwed. Then we did vocab, and took a page of notes on the next chapter.
Lunch...holy cow.
I don't even know what was SO funny at lunch, but we were DYING laughing the ENTIRE time. I seriously thought that Ashley was going to die, because there was a 5 minute period where she LITERALLY didn't breathe because she ws laughing so hard. It was great.
Journalism is getting on my nerves. I just want to get this paper OUT and not have to do pagelayout or ads for another 6 weeks. Ugggggh.
After school, I had to babysit. I slept the entire time. Tomorrow I get paid. Yay.
Then, I came home from school and my mother told me that someone had just called my house, and she thought that it was Ash. Well, I said that it was probably Kat because she was supposed to call me about going to the JV game tonight. Well, I called Kat. She hadn't called, but we agreed to meet at school to watch the game. Carrie was coming later. Then, I asked Ash if she was the one who called my house. Nope, it wasn't her either. OOpsy.
So the JV game...
We won (finally). I had a BLAST chillin' with Kat and Carrie, and Cal came later. Then, after the game, we waited on Tyler and BOBBY WATTS! Fun times. Then we just talked for a while, and hung out on the track.
After that, Carrie and I went to Subway to grab some late dinner. We got there at 9:30, and they close at 10...oopsy. We talked for a LONG time, and left after 10. But, we didn't feel so bad, because there were a lot of people still eating.
So, that's pretty much it. I love the 80s STRIKES BACK is on Vh1 right now...so I'm gonna go watch some great tv!!

Wacky Wednesday

I'm starting to like my math class more and more.
Today, we took some notes, and then we started on our homework. Then, we looked up and we had five minutes left of class. It was nuts. It was great.
In English, we had to act out two of the stories from The Canterbury Tales. I can't remember what the story was called, but it was the one where there was a cheating Miller, and the two students had to spend the night at his house....and they all ended up sleeping around that night. I had the part of the "desirable, vuluptious daughter"...hum...Luke was the student who climbed into bed with me, and then boasted to his friend, E.J. at the great time he had "making love" to me. Ohh, that was just wonderful. The Canterbury Tales is proof that even in medieval times, there were perverts.
World History we did a study guide. This study guide was particularly hard for me, therefore, I shall MOST DEF be studying it tonight...
Lunch was great. I got some homework done, and then I laughed really hard at Ash and Liz being idiots.
Journalism was so-so. I got all of my ads done (I think!). Then, Mrs. Carson asked me if I had already put the lines (borders) around each ad....Oopsy...nope. So Mrs. Carson was infrount of me, and she asked Nan if I should go back in and put lines on them...I was standing behind her and shaking my head. Nan was like, "..um...well...Ohh...no, that's alright, I'll do it!" Thank god. Since I had finished ads, I went with Dylan and Liz to the library to look at pictures in magazines. Dylan had a great idea for the center spread of the next issue. Student/Celebrity look-a-likes. So we looked through the yearbook from last year, and some mags in the library.
After school, I had to go babysit. I fell asleep, twice. But, I also got to leave early!! Boo ya!
I get paid on Friday, and I think Saturday or Sunday I'm going to Winston because I need to do some MAJOR shopping to get ready for colder weather. As much as I love my skirts and flip flops, I've got to retire them soon.
AHH and today is the first day of Fall!!! Yippy Skippy!!
Now I've got to go study, and so some cleanin'..

Tubular Tuesday

I am in shock right now...but we'll get to that in a second.
Today was a good day. I don't know WHY it was such a good day, but it was.
Math was hilarious this morning. We got homework last night. It was only 14 problems and they weren't that hard, either. They were on imaginary numbers. Since none of us actually DO our homework during the classtime that Belton gives us, we all just get him to let us work on it the next day, and then we'll do the next thing we're supposed to do.
This morning, we all went into class, and we actually did our work, and had it turned in in the first 30 minutes of class. We didn't do ANYTHING after that. We helped Coach Belton with the crossword puzzle (given) and we talked. I checked my e-mail, and gossiped with Lauren and Haley. It was SOO great. I really do like that class. It's really laid back.
English, we finished up posters. But, when someone was up presenting their poster, the phone rang. For some reason, I just knew it was for me. Mrs. Ridolfi said that I needed to go get something that my dad dropped off for me at the office. Hum... It turns out that my dad actually needed me to go with him to the insurence office to sign something and get a copy of my license. No big. So I did that, and then I came right back to class. I went back in when the teach was just at the middle point of explaining the Middle Ages. I've already studied the middle ages in WH....so....
WH was good today, too. We took notes, and then we did some work from the book. No big. We're doing a study guide tomorrow. Yippy! I actually enjoy doing study guides (usually). When the whole class finally settles down, and I can concentrate. It really helps me on my tests, too.
Lunch was really fun today. I stayed and chilled with my friends. I really like staying at school, instead of leaving for lunch.
Journalism was good, TOO! I just worked on making one last (I pray) ad, and talked to Nan and everyone who was over by the computers. JUST as I was getting really sick of working on my ad, THE CHAD came on the intercom and said that all computers in the building had to be shut down at 2:45 because the power was being turned off this afternoon. Owww...too bad.... We're never going to get this issue out..
After school, Sara and I talked to Emma for a few minutes, and Ash and Mikel. Ahh... it was GRAND!!!
Then, Sara and I talked real quick before she went home, and I had to go babysit.
Ahh, babysitting. I watched tv today. That's right..that's ALL I did. Sam was tired so he was resting and I went in one of the back bedrooms and I watched tv. My grandmother also go me some Clinique (sp?) makeup. She said that she ordered a lot of makeup, and she had like 4 free gifts. So I got to pick out some like blush, and lip gloss and maskera because she told me to go ahead. Great!
So, now to why I'm SHOCKED.
I slept when I got home, and I watched a few minutes of BB5 (Season final) and THEN, my FAVORITE show ONE TREE HILL had it's first episode of the season tonight.
SOOO much stuff. Holy Cow. It's like a soap opra now...but it's OK. Haley and Nathan got together (MARRIED!), Brooke and Payton made up (YAY!), Nathan and Luke bonded (Ohh yeah!), Karen and Deb are still talking about how much of an asshole Dan is (Girl POWER!)...ahh, it was GREAT!!!!
So that's it...
Tomorrow is the first day of Fall...cold weather is on the way!!!

Why to you build me up, buttercup baby just to let me down? Posted by Hello

Just another Manic Monday

Ahh yes, a Monday indeed.
Today was LOOOOOOOOOOONG. But it wasn't too painful.
I got up kinda early, at 5:30. I can't sleep for some reason, again.
Ok, so my day.
Math wasn't too bad. We reviewed imaginary numbers. Ugh. But, it actually wasn't THAT bad. I had to ask a lot of questions, but I got about half of my homework done. Good deal. Of course, when I sat down to do my homework, I was totally lost. I just can't work without Belton sitting infront of me, distracting me with questions from the crossword puzzle. Ohh, and Belton told me that he gave me a passing grade!!!!! I don't care WHAT it is, as long as it's about 70.
English was SOO good today. We didn't crack open a single book. We presented the rest of our posters. YESA! I just sat there and laughed at people for an hour and a half. How cool. We also got our 6-weeks grades today. *Sad face* I have a 90.1....UGH. I did put my name on the list to talk to her about my grades, though. I went from having a 98 in English 3, to having a 90 in Senior English??!
World History was fun today. We're learning about the Italian Renissance. We also go our grades in third. All the little freshmen started walking up to see their grades. I got halfway up to the overhead where Mac was, and he goes "95 Court"....that works for me. I got the second highest grade. HEHE. I also did better than Jason, and for some reason, that makes me feel good. All the little people were like, "How did you do it? I don't get this stuff"....it's not hard. You listen to the lecture (or sleep through it) and you take the quizzes, and then the test. C'mon people.
Then we just took a crapload of notes (REALLY good ones) and did a video quiz.
Lunch.
I'm between a rock-and-a-hard place when it comes to lunch. I mean, I'm a senior, and I have Senior Lunch. But, I don't even like to go out. The past two weeks I havn't gone out. I'd rather stay at school and laugh for 40 minutes, than go out to lunch and be rushed to get back. But I did go to Subway, by myself, and rushed to get back so that I could see everyone.
Journalism was good today. I had to do ads, but I also got to kick Alex off of the good computer, with the scanner. Every three seconds, if I went to my ad desk, he would ask me if I was done yet. Mrs. Carson finally told him that his pages (that he screws up and Nan has to fix later..) could wait, because my doing ads was more important than him taking 30 minutes to do something it would take the REAL editors 5 minutes to do. BO YA Alex, stfu you gay condom (brown noser).
I had to stay after school today, to finish up my ads. It was WAYYYY better than I thought it was going to be. Mrs. Carson wasn't in the room for over half of the time. I had peace and quiet. I finished all of my stuff (I think) which is GREAT. Tomorrow all I think I have to do is page layout. SCORE.
I left school just before 5, and went to babysit.
I got my trig book and my WH book so that I could do my homwork. But, I was really tired...so I fell asleep at the table. I'm pretty sure that I started snoring, and Sam totally saw me snoozin'. When I came to, he asked if I would rather watch something besides the news. I told him no, and then knodded off, again.
I left babysitting about 7, then I went to Wal-Mart because I didn't want to come home. Nothing I really needed. I came home, then went to Micky Dee's to get dinner, and the store for my mom.
Now, I've been catching up on some e-mails that have been sitting in my inbox for 2 weeks, and rockin' out to some random music!

Now, I've got to go stare at my trig. book for a little while longer.

Lets not do the wrong thing, and I swear it might be fun. It's a long way down when all the knots we've tied have come undone. Posted by Hello
Desperatly Wanting... Posted by Hello

I got 99 problems, and a major is one

My aunt called today. My Aunt De Dee called to talk to my mom, for like, an HOUR.
I really didn't care that my aunt called today. Until, that is, my mom got off the phone with my aunt.
Now, before I begin to vent, I will state that I love my aunt very much. She's a really nice lady. She's also long winded, and over-concerned.
She called to talk to my mom about my future.
She thinks I should be a teacher. Ha.
She mentioned that I should get the Teaching Fellows Scholorship (hahahaahah, with my grades??) and that I should teach for four years, atleast. WHAAAAAAT?
When my mom told her that I wasn't fond of kids, my aunt said that I could also become a nurse.
Apparently, my aunt doesn't know my weak tummy can't handle the word "blood". Just saying Andrew Blood's name, makes me crindge *crindge*.
I don't know what brought on this sudden intrest in my life. She's never really cared before. It's nice to know someone's concerned but, the next thing I know, she'll be wanting me to go to Law School like the rest of my family.
I have a theory about my family wanting me to be a lawyer. I think, that they think, that since my brother will MAYBE, one day, be a doctor of education, that they think there should be a lawyer in the family.
I'm confused about what I want to be when I "grow up". Not so much confused, as not having the slightest idea in the first place. I am, however, still considering being a hobo-mime on the streets of Paris. Ash seems to think it's a good idea.

Now, before my aunt called, I went walking downtown and I watched a few movies.
My walk was GREAT! I missed being by myself and listening to music and thinking. I was suprised, though. Normally, I think of things that I really shouldn't think really hard about. I run through daydreams as I tromp down the sidewalks of downtown Mayberry. But, today, I can't even tell you what I thought about. I had my cd player with a mixed cd of Something Corporate, Death Cab for Cutie, Better than Ezra, Jamie Cullum, and Jay-Z (whoa...that really is an odd mixture).
The movies I watched were Drive Me Crazy, and Serendipity.
I hate it when I watch Serendipity. Why? Because it's the kind of movie that you know is going to end right. The whole movie is predictable. But, for some reason, you think through the whole movie that it's not going to end right. Even though you can guess the next thing to happen. It's really odd. I call it a "romantic thriller". You're on the edge of your seat until the last 3 mins, when the movie (enevitably) ends right. (M. Night Shyamalan could take some pointers from this movie..)
I also watched Drive Me Crazy. For some reason, when this movie is playing on tv, I can't resist watching it. It's like, the reverse of Jaw Breaker. (ohh yeah, that reminds me...we call Rebekah FERN now....it fits perfect, doesn't it?!!). I always watch this movie for reasons I do not know. Maybe there was NOTHING else on tv, I had already read all of the latest columns on CH.com...and looked at the pictures.
Now, I'm watching When Harry met Sally. A classic.
I wish a good movie, like The Graduate would come on AMC more often....or anything written by John Hughs BEFORE 1990.

Scotty doesn't know

I decided Thursday night, that if it was going to rain all weekend, I was going to watch a bunch of movies and kick back, awaiting the arrival of Fall (the 22nd).
I have held true to my plan.

I went and got chinese takeout, and three movies from the movie store.
Shattered Glass, Big Fish, and Euro Trip (Unrated).
Shattered Glass is a good movie. Or atleast I thought it was. Some people probably wouldn't like it because it's kinda hard to get in to. I had to watch it twice, because the first time I was talking to Paula on the phone....and missed a lot of it. Still, good movie.
Big Fish. Thought it was going to be stupid, but it wasn't too bad. It didn't end right, though. The whole movie was really exciting, and far fetched. It should have gone out with a BANG! Not a blah...
Euro Trip (unrated). Holy Cow. If you want to see this, get the unrated version. You will fully apreciate the fucked up minds that brought this movie to the masses. The movie (as a whole), wasn't that good. It was predicable. But there are two VERY memorable scenes. One involves a nude beach with all males ("It's the international house of sausage"). And the other scene takes place on a train...with a gay Italian guy and a long, dark tunnel (use your imagination). The train scene, I laughed so hard, I fell off of the couch. Then I laughed some more. Holy Crap......that was unforgetable. Ohh yeah, and the "robot fight" on the streets of Paris was genius.
OK, so I watched all of those movies, and I was bored out of my mind today. What do you do when your bored out of your mind in a boring town? You go to the movies for hope of teenage normalcy. I go to the Drive-in. I prefer to enjoy my movie while having the option of watching other people make out, at the walk in movies, they're unaviodable.
I went with Sara. Whoa. Princess Diarys 2 and The Village were playing. We had both already seen the first movie, but that didn't keep us from laughing our asses off at it. HAHA. Fun times.
Next, The Village. Now, I kinda knew going into it that it was going to be scary. Sara said that this was the PERFECT date movie, because it was really scary.....yeah....ok.
At one point, I had my feet up on the steering wheel, and a scary part happend, and then Sara hit my side and scared the SHIT out of me, so my feet hit the horn, for like, 5 seconds. Now, ontop of the movie being scary, people got a double dose when my horn blew. Oopsy. Sara and I agreed to not go together anymore, because weird stuff always happens when we go to the movie together. Ohh yeah, and when my horn blew, it just opened the flood gates for countless sexual inuendos. Typical....but effing hilarious.
Adrian Brody was in this movie as a whaked out MF. He was really crazy in this movie. Joaquien Phoenix was also in this movie. You may not know who he is...but in this movie, he's the hott guy-hero. Lucius Hunt is his name...and whoa....a GREAT performance. The movie had more of a romantic side, than a scary side (I think that's actually because when you figured out the plot (in the middle of the film) you kinda gave up on the scary part..)
So that's all. The Village was scary, until you figured it out...then it was kinda dumb. And it DIDN'T end right....
If there is a sequel, and the hott guy dies, I'll be pissed.

A mellow song...

Every scream went bleeding through these paper walls and all the
make-up in the world couldn't hide the scars
I leave today, I'm packing light: a suitcase, some toiletries
The rolling hills and willow trees of Carolina wait for me

You never learned, the rules have changed since we were nine
This isn't school: boys don't assault the girls they like

The taste of blood, the claim of love: these two will here on cease
to be sprouting from your fists and tongue 'cause Carolina waits for me

Fields of grain go whipping by from the window seat
I'm drifting in, I'm drifting out catching up on sleep I couldn't get
Indentured since the very crest of 17
I left my keys and broken dreams 'cause Carolina waits for me

I will never forgive a single day
Mile markers seem to call my name and say, "you're safer now.
Through every town, we'll light your way in reflective green all the
way" The entire state of Carolina waits for me

The rath of Ivan.

I just got off the phone with my bro. My bro's in Boone, NC for college at App. It's WILD up there. With all these hurricanes....it's friggin' nutz. Right when we were getting ready to hang up, he told me that the wind just picked up a picnic table and slammed it down outside of his appartment building. Whoa.
As you know, I'm in Mount Airy, NC...we still havn't seen a drop of Ivan's rain. Humm...
OMGsh. My computer has been messing up, A LOT lately. I've actually bloged twice this week. But, my pooter hates me, so it messes up, and then it doens't publish my post *angry face*
Nothing too major had happend, though. We finished FIRST KNIGHT today in English. Holy Cow, that's a GREAT MOVIE!! Even the guys in our class were caught up in the movie. Almost all of the girls had tears in their eyes after it was over....so sad....SO GOOD. And whoa...the KISS!!! You've GOTTA see it!
I also presented my poster in English today. Our poster was on a virtue or vice (it didn't have to be personal). I did mine on Gossip. Talking about gossip for two minutes was going to be hard, I THOUGHT. OMGsh, it was hilarious. I finished saying what I wanted to, then I needed more time, so I was like, "ANYONE have any questions??" in a very urgent voice. Holly came to the recue and asked something about my poster. Then I "talked" to Lauren about what we do in first period. Mrs. Ridolfi was shocked when she learned that our teach gossiped with us. Which ever so conviently let me tie into my presentation, the fact that EVERYONE gossips.
HEHE!
I had a Dr. G appointment this afternoon so I got out of journalism early (THANK GOD). Mrs. Carson is REALLY getting to me. I could REALLY use my teacher workday that we have tomorrow, to not think about school. But, I have to GO to school, and help finish the paper. UGHHHHHH.
Whew. OK, I think I'm OK now.
Estoy bien y estoy muy consada ( I think that's right...)
Hasta luego! (see you tomorrow?!)

OOOOO my brother sent me this link. It's pictures of Boone and other areas last week, during Frances....http://raysweather.com/francespics.php

Working Girl

Yippee Skippee.
Today, was a HORRIBLE day, and then it was a good day.
I don't know what it was...usually, Monday's aren't THAT bad for me. But today was an exception.
First period actually wasn't too bad. We got some problems to do, and we ignored them. And then Sara and I went to the teacher's lounge to "get Belton a drink." I was 'standing guard' and Sra was getting the food for everyone. Then I walked back in there to help her, and when I got back to the door, Bodnar saw me just as I was peeking out. "BODNAR", I said. And he goes, "COUNCIL, what are you doing? STANDING GUARD??" and I was like, "Nah, Sara's getting Belton a drink", and he just kinda looked at me, and went on. Then, when I got back up to Belton's room, Bodnar was just walking out of Campo's room (right next to Belton's) and I looked at him, and I go "BODNAR! Get to class" and he goes, "I'm goin, I'm goin'". Fun times.
English was where (I think) my big turning point was.
We had a HUGE, I mean HUGE test in English today. I'm not even exagerating. It was 106 questions long, and it had like 13 pages. Geesh. I knew most of it, and I really did study, A LOT. I just wasn't completely prepared for that damn test. Ugh. It was horrible. What's worse than the aspect of the test, was the actual PHYSICAL test. Mrs. Ridolfi screwed up half our classes tests by not having all of the pages together (hint Mrs. R....SHORTEN your effing tests), so the whole time, we were all asking her for pages, and she was getting confused, and we were forgetting our answers. ugh.
After our test, I got my history book out, and layed down on it...and I could swear that I went to sleep. Nick had his foot shaking my desk, and I remember him getting my purse so he could get a pepermint....and then I remember the bell ringing...I'd say I had a good...10 minute nap.
In WH, I already knew that we were having a sub. What I didn't realize, however, was that it was Mrs. Gillespie as our sub..I also didn't know that Mrs. G had a huge stick up her ass.
She was seriouslyPMSin' today. Ugh. She's supposed to be a NICE sub, that doesn't make you DO your work. What happend??
So, after that, we had LUNCH.
By this time, I was barely walking, and I had a headache, and I wanted to take a nap. So I walked into the lunch room, set my stuff down, and Sara asked me if I wanted to leave. I RAN to the door to get out. I had had enough. We went to Sonic, and we ate. And I vented. I purged myself of all things Paula and Megan. I felt better once we left. But, Sara said that I used the f-bomb like 40 times. Oopsy. Well, it's MY anger word.
When we got back to school, we walked back to the lunch room and chilled with Ash and Mikel and all them.
Journalism was painless. I did some ads...and I talked to Dylan. Actually, I LMFAO with Dylan. He's SOO friggin' funny. We laughed for a SOLID five minutes today. I'm not even kidding. We were HYSTERICAL. We were both just at the back table, and we were telling funny stories. And he told one about getting triped by this man on the bus, and so the whole bus ride he gave the man evil looks. Then, he noticed that the man had a wooden leg. Now, I know it sounds horrible, but the actual tale of the bus ride, was SO FRIGGIN' FUNNY.
After school, Sara and I went to the CAR PARK. We went and talked to Nick for a few minutes, then I had to go to my new JOB.
Haha, it's not really a "job". I sit with my grandfather while my grandmother is at the gym. Since he broke his leg, all he does is watch tv (the weather channel). So I got my homework done. I also ate like 5 bananas, and some pineapple...YUM.
I get paid $25 a week, for doing my homework. This is great! I need to go shopping. I just typed that and then I looked at my closet, overflowing with clothes....so I'm greedy. What of it?
OK OK. I'm tired (even though I slept 4 hours when I got home). I think I'm going to lay out some clothes for tomorrow, and fall asleep watching Conan...
Ahh, the single life...

My useless vocab story...

For Mrs. Gaberfroth, offering an incentive to her students was inevitable. Mrs. Gaberfroth thought that her teaching abilities were inferior. But, after talking to a few fellow teachers, she began to believe different.
One of the fellow teachers that she spoke to, just happened to inhabit her home. While talking to her friend, Ms. Humbernuckle, her friend said that she had innate feeling that offering a reward such as various prizes was innocuous. Ms. Humbernuckle also insinuated that candy would be a welcomed reward to her class, for doing their homework.
After her conversation with Ms. Humbernuckle, Mrs. Gaberfroth still felt that there was an internal feeling, that she shouldn't be so lenient with her class. If they couldn't do their homework, some other extremes should take place. But, nothing lethal.
Soon, lucid thing for Mrs. Gaberfroth to would be to "reward" her students with a maximum grade, and let the other kids get zeros for not doing their homework.
Being very meticulous in her explanation of this new system of homework-grading, Mrs. Gaberfroth found that the proposition to the new plan got a semi-moderate reaction from her students.
A few months later, Mrs. Gaberfroth had seen a great incline in homework from her students. She had even become nocturnal, because of all of the homework she was now staying up to grade. There was only one problem.
In the little while that her new plan had been in effect, Mrs. Gaberfroth noticed that one pupil in her class, Greg Idolomo, was notorious for not doing his assignments. Apparently, this kid was a novice at school. Or, he simply didn't care about his grades.
Her new objective was to rid young Greg of his obsolete work ethic. "How could I do this?" Mrs. Gaberfroth asked herself. Soon, she realized that she could use an ominous attitude toward Greg's grade, until he realized his potential.
Mrs. Gaberfroth had always been very pragmatic, but she had been predisposed to this problem before. Mrs. Gaberfroth thought that Greg could easily reach proficient learning capabilities, and begin to turn in homework to her.
Mrs. Gaberfroth's prognosis was that soon, Greg would begin to turn in his assignments
.
I watched this movie today, too. It brought back fond memories of Spanish 2.....only I couldn't watch it in English with "Spanish Subtitiles" Posted by Hello

C'mon, ride the train!! Posted by Hello

What? She can't make up her mind!

Darn this computer. I wrote a blog about last night's MA/ES game...and it got deleted, SOMEHOW when I went to spell check it...ugh....it wasn't anything major...I just wrote about how much fun it is to sit in the Student Section..and I posted a picture of a banner at our school...fun times!!

Tonight, I kinda just chilled around the house. I ordered dinner from the lodge, then I went to pick it up and make a salad for myself. YUM!
I came home, ate, chilled.....I watched a few hours of tv, then got bored (as usual) and came to my trusty pooter for some "sufrin'".
Thank Allah for DSL. I've downloaded 50 songs tonight. I've also come to the conclusion that anyone who might venture around my music files on my computer, could be completely dumbfounded at my taste in music. The person would be like "Um...OK, she can't make up her mind.....she REALLY can't make up her mind." What got me thinking about this, was when I was downloading all of these songs tonight. I've gotten almost 60 new songs from various artists. This is great stuff.
I'm listening to "Fill me up, buttercup" right now. This is nuts.

Now, I'm going to attempt to write my vocab story for English, so I can spend tomorrow doing my poster (maybe....) and doing my laundry....and sitting around wasting a perfectly good day....

This is an open invitation...if anyone's doing anything tomorrow, call my cell.....PLEASE!

Ohh yeah, a great contrast to The Foundations, the logo for Something Corporate.

Geez. I wish Mrs. Ridolfi would get us to write a paper with MEANING, like our individual tastes in music...NOT a "story" using 25 SAT words...I mean...c'mon.

Bo^ring

Today was so-so.
It was semi long.
I am writing short, choppy sentences.
Whew!
Haha.
Ok, freal.
Math was ok...I guess. We did a few example problems and then we got our homework for tonight. No one even STARTED our homework for tonight. We all helped Belton with the crossword puzzle. Geesh.
English was B...O..to the RING! We went over some of our study guide for our test, that is now MONDAY. Geez Mrs. R, MAKE UP YOUR MIND. This is the second time she's changed the test date, and I wouldn't put it past her to do it again.
World History, we took a test, and then did our vocab and a map. CRAP. I just remembered the map that I DIDN'T finish...
Lunch was shorted today, which is STUPID. First, it's stupid that our lunch was shorted anyway. They SAID it was because our lunch was left messy. Ok, whatever. I wasn't THERE for lunch...but OK.
It was stupid for another reason. Normally, we go to lunch at 12:52 PM and get out at 1:32 PM. Ok, no big. Well, to "punish second lunch", The CHAD shorted our lunch. BUT, instead of making us GO to lunch at 1:15, we went to lunch at the normal time, and lunch ENDED at 1:15...You idiot (The CHAD). You punished EVERYONE by making us go to fourth period 17 minutes early. Ugh...
Journalism wasn't too bad. I did Ads with Erin. Pretty painless.
After school, I talked to Sadie for a while, and then I went to go get gas.
I went to the "Little Store" at the NC/VA line, because my gas light was on, it's 10 cents cheaper, and I only had $10.
Well, I had to wait in line for like, 20 minutes. Then I pumped my gas, and I saw Paula and her mom and bro pull up. So I moved my car, and I went to pay. Then, I went back to get into my car, and Paula stopped me to "gossip". Ugh. I HATE gossip. I already felt bad because in first, some people were talking about Rebekah, and I joined in. Even though I don't like her much anymore, and actually, don't even want to talk to her anymore, I don't want to gossip about ANYONE anymore. So, after that, I was weary about talking about crap with Paula.
Gossip, makes me NOT want friends. Ever. That sounds bad, but it's true. Ugh.
Anyway, I didn't really "talk" to Paula, I just kinda nodded. I honestly couldn't tell you what she said...something about Megan and lunch and Sara's car. Whatever.
So then I came home, took a nap, got up at 8:30. Fixed something to eat, and talked to people. Now, I'm going to go to some Math homework...

Windshield Wiper Workout

Ahh, what a great use of alliteration in my title....whoa....when did I become Mrs. Carson?

Today, it rained. When I say it rained, I don't mean in sprinkled all day. I mean it RAINED.

For a while, we thought that we'd get out of school early. But, Mouse Man (Dr. Farley, MACS's new Superintendant) must have decided to continue being a PRICK and not let us out. We (as students) came up with some very interesting reasons as to why we should be let out early.

  • The high school student drivers are enexperienced, and we don't know how to drive in the dangerous HURRICANE rain.
  • The low-roads were already puddling, did ANYONE see the news about if there is 1 foot of water flowing, your car can get carried away??
  • 3 inches of rain = 1 inch of snow....we get out for snow ALL THE TIME!

and my favorite argument..

  • We're all tired, and no one did their English homework...LET US OUT BEFORE SECOND PERIOD!!!

Haha, that's a REALLY good argument..Only, Mr. Farley never got the memo that the town of Mount Airy was getting FLOODING rainwater, AND we were under a Tornado Watch until 2 PM. Ohh yeah, The Chad told us we wer crazy, too.

So what did we do in all of our classes besides complain about being at school??

Hum....what did we do....

Math, we did word problems. Belton did like 3 examples, and then gave us our work for the day....but everyone just sat there and talked...

English, we had two tests..ON THE SAME THING. Holy crap! Atleast we're DONE with subject/verb agreement. Then we got our "study guide" for our test on Friday. Our test is on the Anglo-Saxon time period. Our "Study guide" was 95 questions....and they're due tomorrow....and I've done about 10....

World History. Holy crap...AGAIN! Since I missed yesterday, I missed a SOLID 90 minutes of note-taking. So, I had to copy all the notes....all 7.5 overhead sheets. Then, we were working on a study guide. So I got to like, number 6 when he told us to go over it. So, when he went around the room and asked me what I got for number 8, I didn't know, said "D" and I was wrong...dammit.

Lunch was so-so. I left and went to Sonic. I was STARVING. When I got there, I ordered at 1:00 EXACTLY. At 1:02, my food came out. Holy Cow. So I scarfed it down, and got back to school at quarter after. Then I just sat there and listend to Mikel do SOUTH PARK impressions.

Jimmy: Knock Knock

Cartman: Who's there?

Jimmy: Orange

Cartman: Orange who?

Jimmy: Orange you glad I didn't say ba

Jimmy: Orange you glad I didn't say baa

Jimmy: Orange you glad I didn't say baa baaaaaa

Jimmy: Orange you glad I didn't say baa baaaa baaaaaaaa

Jimmy: BANANA?!

Then journalism, I had to re-take pictures of Blake. So I went and got him out of Band. Then Liz and Dylan wanted to get out of class more, so we went to the Art room. Ugh. Mrs. Bryant got smart with me, and called Mrs. Carson and told her that we were hanging around down there too much, AFTER we got some ligitamate journalism business finished...UGH. So, when I got back to class (After Dylan and Liz FREAKED out), I just talked-fast and told Mrs. Carson that we were only in there 5 minutes (we really were!) and that we were talking about where to take our pic. No big. (But, Mrs. Bryant still pissed me off. From now on, I'm working alone.)

So, after school, Sadie and I did our usual chill in the parking lot. We talked to Nick for like, half an hour, and then it started POURING again, so we left the "car park" at quarter 'til 4.

I came home, did my homework, took a nap, ate dinner...and now I'm typing this. Next, I'm studying for my World History test tomorrow..

Why not? *drooling emoticon* Posted by Hello

Who knew?

Yo yo yo.
How's it flow?!

Ahh, what a glorious crappy day.
Blah.
I had to go to the doc today, with my dad. We had to go to North Wilksboro (sp?) because that's where his heart doctor was today.
Three hours (an hour and a half there, and back)....the LONGEST three hours of my life. My dad just DOESN'T know how to be quiet. He has to be TALKING the WHOLE TIME. I had my SC disk playing, and I only caught a few words from each song. Geez. People say I talk a lot....
So after the doc and stuff. We came back to Mount Airy. Then I came home and fell asleep. I WAS going to go by school and see what I missed...but I said eff it...and took a nap.
Then I went to Wally World after my nap. This trip wasn't too bad. I was kinda shocked. I mean, it was REALLY rainy and nasty...perfect time for people to flock to the local Wal-Mart. WHEW!
So I got everything I needed at Wal-Mart, and I came home and fixed my dinner.
JUST as I was getting ready to put my food on my plate....my grandmother Shelby calls. She didn't say ANYTHING except (to my dad): Troy, I need you NOW. Well, my parents were in the basement, but they came flying up the stairs, and they told me to get in my car, and GO.
So, we're speeding down through town, and we're discussing what could be wrong (BTW. My grandmother has SERIOUS heart shit wrong with her). So, my dad called 911 from the cell, and had an ambulence sent to my grandmother's house.
We FINALLY get to her house, and we all jump out of the car.
Then we saw it.
My grandfather Sam had broken his leg (that's what it LOOKED like). Actually, he "broke" his heel, which means he SHATTERED his heel. Holy Cow. I don't know how he survived his fall. See, he was in "Aunt Pearl's house" which is a house that is like 20 feet away from his, that Aunt Pearl used to live in. He was checking something in the basement. As he was walking down the stairs to the basement, the stairs collapsed (he was on the second from the top) and fell down through to the concrete floor. Holy Shizzle fizzle.
But, he was OK. Grandmother just couldn't get him in the house. The EMS came, and we explained what had happend.
It's all good now, sort of. He's got some good drugs in him, and he's got some SERIOUS ice goin on!
So, we left my grandparent's house and came home. I ate (yesa!) and then I put away my clothes.
Now, I'm listening/watching some videos I downloaded....and watching some tube...

A school holiday, indeed.

Today, September 6, 2004, was Labor Day in America.
Since it was Labor Day, school systems across the country decided to let kids have a much-needed day off from school.

Today was a good day. I didn't do anything. Literally. I had already finished my laundry on Sunday.
I got up around 9 AM. That wasn't so bad. I just figured that I would go back to sleep...NO. I couldn't go back to sleep, so I went downstairs to watch the big screen.
I was flipping channels when I saw that there was a "What Not to Wear" marathon on TLC. Holy Cow, I was in heaven! One of my FAVORITE shows on ALL DAY LONG!
So I started watching the first one...and then right at the beginning of the second one, I feel asleep. But, it was OK. I had already seen that one.
I woke up to the sound of the phone ringing. Normally, something like a phone ringing wouldn't wake me from my deep slumber. But the cordless phone in the bar has THE most annoying ringer in the ENTIRE world.
It was Bess. She was calling to chat before she left for her lunch date with Christian. So we chated for a while, and then she had to go, because she has a life...and a boyfriend.
Then I napped on-and-off throughout the day. At one point, my parents came in the basement and semi-kicked me out. So I came upstairs and napped on the couch. I caught a few minutes of every episode. So it was all good.
That's all I did. Seriously, that's ALL I DID. It was GREAT, too!
Tomorrow I have to go to the doctor. ugh. But I do get to miss school, too. But I don't WANT to miss school (I'm a dork :P). I don't want to miss Math, and I HATE missing English because we do SO MUCH crap in there, and we're taking notes in World History, so I'll be behind. Dammit. I hate the doctor.
So that is all. I think I'm going to put away the rest of my clothes, and watch another episode of WT2W. Love it! **BA DA BA BA BA! I'm lovin' it!!**

Spirit Shakers..

Yeah yeah, I know it's been a few days since my last post
Lets see....Tuesday was GREAT! I had a good day at school and all.
Wed. was good. Class was pretty normal and all. Later that night Sadie and I went to the Soccer game against North Surry. Fun times! We really did have a BLAST that night. We chilled with Nathan. Things between Nathan and I are getting better. It's no longer intese hatred toward the other person.
Thursday was WONDERFUL! Classes weren't too bad, but I did get to fail a math test! After school, Kat, Sadie and I all went to get posterboard and glass chalk. We made posters for Bobby and Tyler and THE DAN!
My poster said "Bring down the house Bobby!" and Sadie's said "Dan--THE MAN!" and Kat's said "Tyler rocks my FACE OFF!". Fun times. We made the posters for the JV game agaist North Surry that night. Well, we all went to the game and all, and we lost...0-21.....yeah...we suck....Belton Hanes even said so!
Now, tonight!
Tonight was the BIG GAME! Mount Airy vs. North Surry. We won! Four years in a row! All four years that I've been in high school, we've beaten North Surry. Fun times!
First, it was GRIT DAY at school. Holy crap! We had SOOOO much fun!!! I dressed up in my "redneck co-TORE" and so did everyone else. It was SOOOOO much fun! In Belton's class, we didn't do ANYTHING. Belton didn't even talk to us. We just sat around on the tables and talked. In English, we had to do work...a LOT of it. World History was short and sweet. Forth, all we did was take pics of grit day people. Then we had our first pep ralley of the year.
"The Pep" was hilarious. First, we SENIORS got to march in and have the whole school stand for us...that was kinda weird. Then, we all screamed and stuff for the spirit stick...the Juniors got it....After that, the bear mascot had a pie to pie either Mrs. George or Mr. Beasley. Our side of the gym had Mr. Beasley (The Chad!). Emma got all of us NOT to yell to have him pied...HILARIOUS. But then both of them got pied...whatever.
After school, I hung out with Sadie at our cars, and then I hung out with Ash and Mikel...that was some good times!
The game was PACKED. The police people said that they were preparing for around 5,000 people. But last year, the total was something close to 8,ooo. It was crazy. Sadie and I got there and met Mikel, Ash, and Liz in the parking lot. Then we went and got a seat and cheered on the team! We were smack-dab in the middle of the student section..it was GREAT!
We beat N.S. 21-7. It was a BLAST and a HALF! At one point, we were all mad that Taylor hadn't been put into the game yet, so we all chanted "PUT TAY RAY IN!" for what seemed like FOREVER.
It was a great night. A great whole week!

Ohh yeah, I turned 17. And I've had my license for a year today!
