AHHHH.

I give up.

Tengo nuevo coche!!

I finally got a new car!!

And it's BLUE (I wanted a silver car...but I'm not complaining!)

-- May 29, 2008: the day I became a grown-up

-- Mom's HHR on the left, mine on the right. She got hers for Mother's Day this year.

I really wish I had a picture of my old car, but I didn't have my camera with me (the trip to the dealership was a surprise). The Maxima...it'll be missed.

So, yay!! New Car New Car!!!

Emotions, takin' me over.

Eight days until Asheville.

I don't know what I'm supposed to feel right now.

Nervous/excited/hopeful/relieved/bored/scared/horrified/sad/happy/willing/hesitant/ready/not ready/anxious/terrified/lonely/chaotic/worried/busy/afraid/joy/sorrow.

I just want to sleep for the next eight days and not think about it.

AHHHhhhh (scream/sigh).

Speaking of people getting married..

Alex (who I grew up with) married Jason Lipot (who I graduated from high school with)...

I (mom) only got a few pictures...but this was my Saturday:

I used to babysit this kid!! He's 17 now...I'm getting olllllld

Class of '05 mini reunion!

Um...cake!!

I love Alex to death.

I hadn't seen this kid since freshman year!! We both miss having class together :(

That's pretty much it. Papa Hiatt actually married them. Which was really cool. He had been wandering around before the ceremony and I couldn't figure out what he was doing.

(Kathryn..I miss you..but seeing Maria is like seeing you!!)

Really?

I love my friends, I really do. And I've VERY happy for them...don't get me wrong.

But if ONE MORE of them gets engaged/married before get another (if I get another) boyfriend, I'll scream!

That is all.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHHAAAAHHAHAHAH!

Seriously...one of the funniest scenes from a movie EVER.

Can you go to sleep before 9 am and wake up before 3 pm?

NO!

But since I can't....I'll give you something pretty to look at!!

"Everybody is just a stranger, but that's the danger in going my own way" - JM

Why does my stomach hurt?

It's probably the Cook Out shakes I've had nearly every night since I've been home...good thing I haven't unpacked school stuff and gotten out my scale!

I saw Narnia: Prince Caspian tonight. Holy shit. Can you say hot?

I always feel like such a pedophile saying that kind of stuff. Especially about characters in movies meant for kids. Because, well, they're meant for kids...and Harry Potter is, like, 4 years younger than I am.

<<>Pause<>> Research

Ben Barnes (Prince Caspian) was born in 1981!! Yeyah!! I'm not the pedophile!!! And he's certainly within my dating range....whoaaa. Need a life (but at least I know this, right?)

Anyway, the second Narnia was better than the first, in my opinion. But if you've read the books, it'll piss you off until you realize IT'S A MOVIE and chill out. ( I find it odd that my Word recognizes "Narnia" but blogger aka the INTERNET doesn't...get with it)

A few times watching the movie, I had flashback's to my recent viewings of Lord Of The Rings.

When Lucy is with Asland and the trees come to life - - "TREE? I AM NO TREE!"
I swear I had more when I was watching it...we were cracking up.

I thought I had more to talk about. Maybe not.

I've come to the realization that I love coffee cups, even though I don't drink coffee. They fit into your hand much better than cups. Like they're invited, welcomed almost. Whereas a normal cup clings for dear life and low-spillage.

I've been in a movie mood lately. I keep catching movies on tv, and normally I keep flipping, because I think there is something better on, but the other morning I caught The Illusionist on (my old roommate, Kristyn told me there were two major surprises, so, of course I saw them coming and guessed them --still a good movie!) and then right after that, the movie version of Jane Eyre came on. I've never been able to get though the book, but the movie wasn't half bad. I did google it, and it left a LOT of the book out...but they always do, don't they? I somehow love the fact that the plot twist was that he had a mad wife. It makes me laugh. hahahahahahaahaah. Told ya.

I want to see Forgetting Sarah Marshall. I've heard that it's supposed to be more funny than Knocked Up and Superbad. I didn't particularly like Knocked Up (but I still appreciate it's hilarity) but can you top Superbad? I have to know.

Monster House is on tv right now. The one that's a cartoon? It's pretty weird. But I have to know what's with this house.

I gave my mother an iPod for Mother's Day (Dad got her a new car...but she HAS to love my gift, right?) and put Nsync and Hanson on it. She cracked up listening to it. Ohh, and EVERY Beatles and Elvis song I could get my hands on. ( I say this, because I'm listening to Hanson right now...and the child inside wants to swing my hair into a ponytail, and grab a hairbrush).

When I was little, I had a celing fan in my old room, and a mirror on the middle wall, right underneath the fan. And I would take monopoly money and climb up on furnature, but the monoploly money on the fan blades, and then pretend to be a car salesman shooting a commercial, flip the switch and, I guess say something like, "Come on down to Mayberry Motors and you'll save cash" or something whitty. Crystal Issaacs did this with me one time. I was a crazy kid.

I also had a "studio" in my room, where I had two radios, one old one that only played tapes and had a radio, and then one that played cds. And I would pretend I was working at a radio station as a deejay. I even had my tapes and cds in a little library. Wow...my parents should have had another kid between me and my brother...I was soooo bored as a child.

I guess that's it. I have nothing more to rant about. Go see Narnia, though, freaking GREAT.

- - I couldn't resist...and can you blame me??

(finding this picture, IMdb tells me that they're making ANOTHER movie out of the fifth book...and hot boy's going to be in it...hell yesssssssssssssss!

HAPPY 500th POST, BLOG!!

Yes, indeed. I always forget my Blog's birthdate, but this is the 500th post, and, what makes this particular day special, is that High Fidelity is on.

So, in celebration of HF, and my blogging skills that have evolved since that first blog, a special post:

My Top 5, all time Greatest Men of All Time (in no particular order, except number 1)

1) JOHN MAYER -- Have you met me? I LOVE this man!!

2) John Cusack -- OMG, ever since "Say Anything" I've loved this man. (Especially in High Fidelity).

3) Mark Feuerstein - HOTTTTTT! Sometimes he plays scum in movies...but he can be my scum any day of the week.

4) Colin Firth -- This man has played every English swooner there is. I mean...he played Mr. Darcy. And he's GREAT at it. I also admit my fondness for accents and older men. Surprise?

5) Andrew McCarthy

Ok, ok, I know I put pictures up a lot, and that wasn't really showcasing my blog skills(z!), but I still displayed my Top 5 greatly.

I miss Asheville.

And I miss every single one of my friends.

SOUND OFF!

If I NEVER hear my FUCKING LOUD ASS SUITEMATE DO HER FUCKING SMOKER COUGH or my roommate BLOW HER NOSE again..

..it will be too soon.

Anyone else need to vent?

This is the MOST stressful time of the year for college students. I currently live off of Red Bull and Snickers (both of which I get on my munch money, because my bank account is so low) and my books and papers are drowning me.

The toilet paper's realllllly low and my suitemate is smoking (out of her damn window--which makes the WHOLE suite smell like smoke) and is coughing EVEN MORE THAN NORMAL (keep in mind, I live in a dorm room with paper-thin walls and I hear everyything...which makes her even LOUDER)!!

And my roommate has been sick for a month, refuses to go to the doctor, and still goes out/drinks 5 nights a week. SHE BLOWS HER NOSE MORE THAT ANYONE CAN IMAGINE. Seriously, HOW can you have that much mucus in your body and NOT get it out blowing your nose the FIRST 20 times?

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

To find my place in this Middle Earth.

The covert opporation happened. But, Barack wasn't here. It was his wife, Michelle, and Gladys Knight sang.

But, has YOUR school had snipers on the roof of it? I don't think so.

I have to say something. Actually, I have to take back something.

For all those times I said that The Lord of the Rings was stupid/gay/idiotic, etc. I apologize.

Me and my friends Anthony, Dylan, and Randy have watched them all.

They were great.

I can't believe it.

I'm buying The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings tomorrow, and putting the others on my list off.

Holy shit.

AMAZING.

This is my favorite shot of all of the movies::

This particular shot doesn't give it justice, but it was SOOOOO creepy in the movie.

A friend called me a bit ago about a covert opp. Alvy works in the library and saw the SS.

The SS (Secret Service...I just realized...maybe they should re-think the naming of the SS...this isn't Nazi Germany) has been on campus...and it's rumored that O'Bama is going to be at UNC-A tomorrow.

I voted for Hilary...but meeting O'Bama would be one of those stories I have from college.

"Oh? O'Bama? Yeah, I met him once...in college. Nice guy."

Wait, what if he gets president, and then turns into a mass-murdering fuck head? Whoaaaaaaa.
