I have really smart friends.

Ready. Steady. Go!

Sorry it's been a while since my last post. I would say that I've been really busy buuuuut I haven't. Just lazy.

Today we had Cap & Gown pictures at school. I thought that I would be sad, like I was before. But, it was really nice. It took forever just to take the group picture, but while the guy was placing us, I looked around. I saw everyone talking to new friends and old friends. It made me really happy to think about all that I've been though with some of those people. I mean, I went to pre-school with some of them. It's kind of weird when you're 17 to say that you've known a person for 14 years. I just wanted to sit and take it all in. In a little less than two months, I would be sitting with these same people, in these same robes, and I will probably not be able to keep it together. But today it just made me really happy.

Prom is really soon. As much as I've been talking about it (and believe me, I've been talking about it a lot) I can't believe it's almost here. I'm happy that all of the planning is almost done, and I won't have to worry about it anymore. I'm also really happy about the people I'm going with. I'll have fun taking stupid pictures with Emma! I'm also excited about being able to put on my dress with my hair and make-up and all on.

Senior Year has been fun so far, and the most fun is has still yet to come. We've got Prom, Senior Trip, Service of Celebration, Senior Breakfast, Senior Lunch, and getting yearbooks to look forward to. As unsure about my future as I am, I can atleast look forward to the next two months.

Speaking of my unsure future. I've found a major that I'm interested in. I can travel and meet new people, and maybe even have fun with this major. Maybe everything will just fall into place soon. And I can stop worrying.

Friends are little rays sunshine

Last night was great. It was the Talent Show for school. Since I'm a senior, I also got to MC for people. I intro-ed Emma first thing. It was fun. Everyone said that I did well.
We (the Show Choir) also got to do our Phantom of the Opera dance thing. People said we did good on that.

But the best part about last night, was after the show. I found Emma and Tillman after the show, and we all decided to chill together. I also met Maggie (AKA Shmimmy) She's cool. She had those ugly old people clogs that Taylor has, only in purple! And it was the same purple that her shirt was. Muy Cool.

We all went to Wendy's and met, like, everyone else that goes to MAHS. We chilled, and ate, and then came back to my house, and watched "Viva la Bam". It was some fun times.

That's what I love about my friends. We can be completely spontaneous and fun. Ahh, it was a good night!

Today was great. I woke up at 11, and went and got some lunch. Then I just sat around the house and watched the Wedding Weekend thing on the Food Network. It was a really pretty day, so I layed out on the back pourch for a while. Ahhh. It was really relaxing.

When I was outside, chillin' (actually, burnin') it reminded me of last summer. And I'm sad because if I go to school this summer, I'll miss all of that. Hanging out with friends whenever I wanted, and going to the pool everyday, and everything. I got out a beach towel, and just smelled it. It sounds weird, but the combo of sun-block and salty beach water and pool water...just makes me long for those dog-days of summer.

Buuuut, Spring Break is next week. Can't wait!

::

Emma wrote a post about Nalgene bottles, and it was great.

Emma is the one who turned me on to Nalgenes, and I will be forever greatful to her, for doing that.

I'm excited, because today we got our report cars (I'm a dork)!
Journalism - 98
Physics - 90 (YESSSSS!)
Show Chior - 97
Intern - 100

Not too bad, if I do say so myself. Three of my classes are cake, which is why I'm REALLY proud of my Physics grade.

My dad is going back to India at the end of the month. He's also getting a new car when he gets home. I guess the "Family Business" is going well...

My brother is coming home tomorrow!! I'm excited!! I haven't seen him since Christmas Holiday. And Amber's coming home, too! I get to hang out with my big sis, and put on my Prom dress for her, and talk to her about girl stuff. Ahh, I've missed them both.

I'm watching "PIPELINE" on NG right now. I watched the marathon on Sunday, and it's almost addictive. it follows a group of men (Class 04) that are going through indo training to become pararescuers. It's really cool. They started out with 59 people, and only 18 end up graduating. So, yeah, it's really cool.

I have nothing else to talk about....I'll go now.

PS-Jill said the "F" word 6 times in Physics today.

We had a two hour delay at school today. We also had the 10th Grade Writing test today. That messed up everyone's day. We had a 10 minute first period, and a 2 and a half hour second period. That's right, I was stuck in Physics for 2.5 hours.

We did this thing called the Unit Circle. I tried to find a drawing of it to post on here, but I couldn't find one. It was some complicated stuff. After doing some homework on that...we watched movies.

I actually learned something, when we watched the videos. One of them was on the "Fun of Physics" or something like that. It had rollar coasters on it, and that was fun. Now, what I learned was, that on rollar coasters, when the little train of cars goes up an incline, it is pulled by a simple ban or something like that, and then it's released, but not propelled (that was one hell of a run-on sentence). And the whole time I thought that there was a motor behind the whole thing!

Wow, I'm a geek because I think that's neat.

We watched a second movie about collisions, and I watched as the boys' faces light up with every crash. It really doesn't take a lot to make them happy.

Journalism was very...interesting today. I did Bear Essentials with Till, Meredith, and the Mexican. Then I went and talked to Beltar for the rest of the period. Till told Beltar that I had a crush on him, and then left the room.....whoa....weird after that.

OK, off to bed now...
