Someday.... Posted by Hello
 Posted by Hello

I woke up hearing Doc Far's voice...AHH!

But, this was a good thing. He was telling the local t.v. station why he was giving MACS a snow day.

Works for me!

On this wonderful Snow Day, I have managed to accomplish nothing. It's great! After I woke up to see if we had school, I fell back asleep. The second time I woke up, it was to Regis' voice. A little better.
The only thing I've really done all day is fix myself lunch...and flip channels...and tried on my Prom Dress (because no one was home...and I could). Ohh yeah, I changed my AIM Profile colors...and talked to Jill for a sec....about the "take-home" Physics test that we didn't do.

Ok, enough boring stuff...I'm gonna sit around for a while...and wait for Oprah to start.

Bran Castle...AKA Dracula's Castle Posted by Hello

Saturday, February 26, 2005

My mom just told me that my brother is coming home next weekend! I'm excited! I havn't seen him since he was home for Christmas Holiday break. He's also bringing his roomate, Brandon, Brandon's Girlfriend, and his little brother. They're staying with us over their Spring Break because Brandon's brother will be playing in the High School State basketball finals.
So, we're going to have lots of house guests.

Now, I say that I'm excited about my brother coming home now, and I really am. But, I'm sure, that once he's here for, like, 2 weeks, I'll be about to kill him.

I bought 3 movies today. A purchase that I am really regreting. I bought Garden State, Dodgeball, and Chasing Liberty. Three good movies. But I don't really want them. I called the place where I bought them, to ask if I could return them, and the girl said that she would have to check with her district manager, but that I probably couldn't....

Anyone wanna take one (or two, or all) off my hands?

Fast Times at MA High

I gave my first campus tour this morning. It was fun. Mrs. Goins wasn't at school today, and won't be tomorrow. So, I got to sit at her desk, and do some homework, and answer the phone, and write a ton of notes. It was fun with her not being there. I got more stuff done, it seems like.

Today was the best day I've had all week. Mainly because I got my grade for last six-weeks in second period. I made a 90!!!! And class was much better today, Mac and Taylor weren't as crazy as usual...and all we did was homework. Fun times.

Show Choir was really fun today. We're working on our "moves" for the Talent Show. I think it's really cool how to see the show come together. From learning the music, to all of the dancing. I mean, it's really neat to see everyone's ideas evolve while we're working out everything. It will all pay off (*crosses fingers*) on March 12, the day of the talent show.

Ok, that's all I have to say for now. I've got to go study for a test in second..

HPW'sU?

I've been catching up on my blog-reading tonight.

I've been reading Emma's brother, Will "Buck Shot" Refvem's blog. Now, I don't know Will, but his blog if fun to read. It's very educational. His latest post was about numberology, something that I check every once in a while. The post before was about general astrology and the different sun signs and stuff.

Second period is killing me. Not the actual class, but my classmates. We have a bunch of goofy people in that class.
At first, it was funny when everyone would be silly and cut-up in that class. People would make jokes, and everyone would laugh about it. But then people wouldn't be quiet. They just keep going on and on about jokes or something. When our class does this, Coach Belton will quit talking to us. He'll just start writing more notes on the board, and if people stop goofing off, he'll explain the notes.
Today, was especially bad. I've done well to understand all of the things in this chapter, and I wanted to continue knowing what I was doing. So, when the class kept talking, I tried to ignore them, and get Beltar to talk to me, so I'd know what was going on. But it didn't work too well. Mac and Taylor kept making up insults using only first letters of what they were going to say. It was annoying to hear "STFU" and stuff like that back and forth. Then, the rest of the class joined in and people were translating messages. The whole time, I was trying to figure out how to find delta-p.
Now, some people in that class can goof off the whole time, and still understand what to do. I, cannot.
Ok, I'm done venting about physics, for now.

Today was really pretty, again. I came to my house in 4th, and put on flip flops. I even admitted to Tillman that I wish it would stay warm, instead of getting cold again. Ahh, I love Winter. But, since we've had a really messed up Winter this year, I'd be fine if Mother Nature changed over early, to the warm, delightful, sandal-wearing days of Spring.

OK, that's all I have to say now. I'll go work on some homework, that Belton finally explained to us today. TTFN.

Have you ever not been able to concentrate? That has been me all week long. I think it's a combo of not sleeping well, and, apparently having a lot on my mind. Or, atleast, that's what a friend of mine said.

The 'lot' on my mind, I'm not sure about. I can't seem to focus on one thing for more than 5 minutes. So I can't figure out what I'm thinking about, that throws off my focus on everything else.

In second period today, I kept starring off, pretending to understand all of the review problems Beltar was going over. You know, at first, it was fun having a teacher that never made you do anything...and you could get away with whatever you wanted. And since Trig last semester was so easy (we didn't do anything) I've become spoiled, and keep thinking that Belton will let our physics class slack off. But I guess it's clear now, that that's not going to happen.

Today I told my mom that I wanted to quit school. 3 months, 1 week, and 2 days until I graduate. It seems like such a long time.

The only thing that I like about school now, is Journalism. But even in there, things between people are weird.

Ok, I'm writing very choppy tonight. I can't aviod it. I will now go stare at my review problems, and act like I understand Power and Work and all that stuff. We've got a Physics test tomorrow, and my frame of mind isn't the best to be in.

Umm hum... Posted by Hello

Sunshine on my shoulder, makes me happy.

My toes are thanking me for a wonderful day, uncovered.

It's February, and I wore flip flops to school today. It was SOOO great! As much as I love Winter, it felt nice to let my feet dry-out.

I've decided, that I have too much fun in Journalism. I sit around, when I'm in class. And when I'm not in class, I sit around. Last week I got out every single day to "take pictures" for this "project" that Ms. Carson has us doing. I get out with Tillman and Taylor everyday. Today, was no exception.

We left school, in seperate cars. Taylor got his license today, and no one would ride with him. We all met at my house, and played basketball. Actually, Taylor and I shot around, and Tillman took some random pictures of my neighbors' houses...and us shooting hoops.

After my house, we all met at the AGP and took more pictures. Tillman spat his gun at the AG statue. I wish I would have gotten a picture of that.

Ok, that's all the stuff I have to say, now I have to go do some physics!

Yeah, I know. I need to post.

Thank you, Mother Nature

Today, I, along with the other 550 (approx.) students at MAHS enjoyed my very first snow day of the year. Hopefully followed by many, many more.

It was great. I got to sit around the house ALL DAY! I got to watch old episodes of Dawson's Creek and Ed. I got to take a shower at 11 am, instead of 6. I got to snack and drink water, whenever I wanted. And, I got to use the restroom at my own discreasion (sp?). Ahh, snow days!

Today I also tried on my Prom dress. I feel really pretty when I put it on. Even though when I put it on, my hair was still wet, and I had no make-up on.

Prom is 2 months and 6 days away. That leaves me, ohh, 1 month and 6 days to land the perfect Prom date. Ugh. Just thinking about it makes me sad. I have no clue who I'm going to go with. *sad face*

But atleast I have a pretty dress!

Ohh yeah, I got good news yesterday....I made "A" Honor Roll last semester!
