"And tonight on Amish Idol...we test the butter churning ablilities of the three finalists"
I'm not excited because I WANT to go to this "class", I'm always excited when I hear the little freshmen say to eachother, "AA? Alcholics Anonomoys? WHY? What did we do?" and continue to freak out.
I hear it atleast 3 times at the beginning of August, when it's annouced that the little freshmen can see where they go for this class.
I remember being a freshman. I actually WENT to the open house, I figured out where all of my classes were, and still, the next day when I had to do it by myself, I still felt unprepared.
"Did I get all of my notebooks? Did I remember to up-date my little cheapass 'student planner' that I won't use after the second day? Did I get enough number two pencils? Do they out-law blue and black pens, and bring back pink ones? Did I get enough paper?"
WOW. Now, I'm lucky if when I get to class, I remembered to grab my notebook from my locker that DOESN'T have a friggin' lock on it, and I'm REALLY lucky if I have extra paper in that notebook, that hasn't been doodled on, or have a letter written on it.
Last semester, I didn't even carry my bookbag for a big hunk of the semester. Why break MY back? Who cares if I take a locker near all of my classes? The little freshmen are too scared to, why waste the space, or the backache of carrying all that shit around?
Next point:
Is it me? Or do my blogs bring on big news?
Today, after I talked to some friends online, I went in the living room to get the paper.
I started off with my normal reading of my horoscope, the funnies, and then when I went to flip over the paper and put it down, I saw a five person setting.
They were dressed amazingly like Amish people.
Apparently, you can judge an Amish by thier cover, because IT WAS Amish people.
It seems, that an Amish family has signed on to do a "reality" television show.
WTF? Isn't that cheating? How did they sign the contract? Did they use an ink quill? Because I know they couldn't use a ball-point pen (Actually, I don't know if they can write with pall-point pens, but I'd like to think they can't).
How do you think this came about? What is going to be on the show? Are they going to be telling the Amish how cool the real world is, and electricity, and try to lour the kids away? How do they get power to power thier cameras? And thier lights? That's one big ass extention cord...
More about school:
I got up around 1 PM. I talked to Ash for a few minutes, I took a shower, I ate some food. I dried my hair. I watched a marathon of MADE on MTV.
I've been quite torn over something. And no, I havn't been lying naked on the floor, I've been sitting fully clothed infrount of my computer.
The thing I'm torn over, is the fact that my class schedual has a little bit of a hole in it. I don't have a first period class, second semsester.
Although, my second semester is going to be EXTREAMLY easy, with our without a class first period, that isn't my worry.
My worry is the fact that it's FIRST PERIOD. There are muchos advantages to NOT having a first period. All of these advantages involve the ablility to sleep an extra hour and a half each day.
There are also a few disadvantages to NOT having a first period.
For the past three years, I have sat, waited, done some homework, chatted, eaten, and just chilled at one booth in the MAHS cafeteria. We've been sitting in that EXACT booth for 3 years. We want to make it 4 years. I'm usually the first there, if not, I get there and chill with someone who is already sitting there. I love my booth. I love the fact that 8 high school kids can fit, uncomfortably, in that booth. I love how it's convient to the BEAR BAR where I get breakfast everyday. I love how it's 10 feet away from Mrs. George's table. I love the fact that I've sat there for 3 years.
Not having a first period, would allow me NOT to get to spend the last semster, of my last year, with my friends every morning.
I don't know what to do.
Not having a class would allow me to sleep later everyday, but I would also miss stuff like schedual changes, a few programs, and just stuff (I don't, however, care about missing AA).
WHAT DO I DO?
I talked to Tammy (Mrs. Goins) and she told me that I could be an office assistant. But isn't it bad enough that all I have second semester is Sports Marketing, Show Chior, and Journalism? I mean, a college could look at me and laugh already. DAMN.
But I don't know why I'm so worried about a college looking at me, and laughing. I know that they're all gonna do it, anyway. That's why I'm going to good 'ole UNC-D before I go off to school.
Believe me, this WASN'T by choice. Although, it was my choice to get a D in Algebra 2. BUT it wasn't MY choice to take it...so THERE Mister NC Public School graduataion requirements. You have bursted the bubble of a young 16 year old girl who wants nothing more than to move far, far away from here. Poo Poo on YOU YOU!
I'm going to stop writing now, and go read some more Observational Humor...and watch That 70s Show...

Someday, we're going to have to leave the "douches" behind
Today, was a good day.
Yesterday was a good day, until it rained.
Sunday was a really good day. I went to visit Emma at GSW (Salem College). I got lost on the way there, I got lost when I got there, I got lost on the way to lunch, and yet again, on the way BACK to SC. Hum.
But it was fun! When you lack heavily in the 'navigational skills' gene, you soon realize that getting lost isn't that bad. Unless your on your way to somewhere important. Say, a date? HA. Yeah, it's not that bad, at all. There are always nice crowds of people crossing the street that you can pull dangerously close to, to ask for directions.
What I hate, when asking for directions, are people who have to think really hard (or appear to think really hard) of how to get to a place.
Now, since the only directions I've had to give are to tourists looking for the Mount Airy Visitors Center, I might not be able to speak on this topic, seeing as how some people have to explain to a lost 16 year old girl how to get to a college that is LITERALLY 2 turns (AND miles) from the point in which she pulled up and flagged down some nice old black ladies leaving church, and asked how to get to Salem College.
But all-in-all, it was a fun day! I got to see Emma for the first time since Graduation, and I also got to write the above paragraph!
Tonight, I realized that I really needed to blog. I know it's been a few days, and you've missed the thing you read when your bored. Sorry 'bout that. I'll try to keep the boreing-ness to a minimum tonight, seeing as how your already bored out of your mind, and that's why your reading this now..
Tonight, I also was thinking of various topics to blog about. I came up with some funny stuff. Only, I wasn't conviently at my computer when I thought of these things, so I didn't start a blog when the little funnilly lightbulb over my head started blinking on like a dawn-to-dusk streetlight on the street (what a clever name for a light on the side of a street!) So, when you see random things typed on my blog, that means that the little light above my head had just a little more juice in it, and lit up for a split-second, allowing me to type out the phrase that will hopefully send me on yet another boring rant of stuff that I find funny or confusing, and the rant that will, enivetably, put you to sleep...early.
Amish people don't get to enjoy the wonderful pleasure of microwavable pizzas. Granted, Amish people don't get the oppertunity to enjoy the miracle that is the microwave, either, but I already covered that.
Seriously. Do Amish people even know what pizza is? Do they eat the wonderful pleasure that is the pizza? This wonderful creation that was invented (I'm not really sure. Of course, you'd think Italy...but the Chinese people invented NOODLES and ICE CREAM...) Italy¿
Those Amish people, REALLY don't know what they're missing. They ESPECIALLY don't know what they're missing if they have never had the divine pleasure of scarfing a "deep dish" Red Baron pizza. Ahh, the reason that there is, and will always be cellulite on my thighs. Well worth it? Yes. Have you ever seen a fat Amish person? OK, that kinda answers my question. BUT those people work thier asses off, so maybe, they've worked the pizza off thier asses, while they were at it.
Ahh, we non-Amish people have it all. Obisity, various STDs, and words that not even speach therapists with a Ph. D can pronouce. Ohh yeah, and microwaves. :D
I write this blog, while I'm waiting for a new column of Observational Humor to load. I love columns. Just because they are almost-always very cleverly written, and involve very odd items. Most of these items, you would never think that you could write a column about. But, the newst method of getting girls "Pick and Ditch" and various drunken stories really make good cloumn material.
This brings me to my next point.
I would LOVE to do this. Any by this I don't mean sit at my computer and bore innocent people.
No, I would rather have innocent people pay a quarter for a few sheets of "recycled" paper, and sit down with thier morning bagle, to be bored with me doing this. That would put them BACK to sleep.
Now that I have confused you. I will explain this, to you.
How effing awesome would it be to be a columnist? You sit around, where ever (with a computer and internet) and you spill your guts about a topic. It could be war, it could be peace, but for the most part, it's weird "items" like the "pick and ditch" method, and the occational presidental debate issue.
These writers for college humor are, or at least i think are, some of the luckyest people on the earth (next to those rich kids who don't worry about money, EVER....and the guy from "St. Elmo's Fire, Pretty in Pink "BLANE", and yes, Manequen).
They get the oppertunity to make 16 year old girls, like me, fall out of our chiars while reading thier words...at 2:22 AM. Geez.
I'm sure that these writers think that no one reads thier stuff. But hey, your bored, and your reading this...
But no, back to the story. These people are geniuses. Do they know that? The primary writer and creater of ch.com, Steve Hofstetter, is becoming one of my favs.
As you know, if your often bored and read my blog, I became hooked on the columns page of ch.com. (Yes, I visited it to see the pics, but stayed for the writing...once a geek..always a geek).
Observational Humor is my latest conquest. There are 5 volumes of this column, and most of the volumes have over 20 editions. Now, I'm not in school right now, so YOU figure up how many columns that is.
While other people *coughs ASHLEY G* read books and keep up with totals of thier summer reading. I enjoy reading funny stuff written by drunk college students who are bored, and figured they'd make little 16 year old girls LMAO for a while. And write some materical which, I'm sure, they're using soon for thier intership applications. "Do you have expericence in making fun of people and occationally writing about serious issues?"--the interviewer will ask. "Why, YES I DO!"--the ch.com college student looking for a little pocket cash, and a hobby, will say.
Yet again, back to the story. *skims over above paragraphs, looking for original topic of rant*
Ahh, yes.
I wish that I could be a columnist when I "grow up". I just think it would be fun. It would be my ideal job. I would have a deadline, but I wouldn't have to go to an "office" to do my work. I could sit in the window of a Starbucks in...um...Starbucks really ARE everywhere, and watch people go by. I could write a column about stupid people, who will read my column and think that I'm making fun of someone else. I could write a column about fries (Carrie Bradshaw did it! AND she got a book published in the same episode :P).
Really. Although I don't want to be a "journalist" I really wouldn't mind being a "columnist".
I wish that our paper had columnists. But, we're only published every 6 weeks (sometimes...hehe), and no one at that school would actually get my form of twisted humor, except maybe Ash ...maybe Mikel.
To make sure I would have success from my columns, I could "lift" a few pages from the ch.com archives. I mean, it's not like "busted tees" and "ch.com" are actually POPLUAR **note the sarcastic tone in my um...typing?**
Since i just clicked over to the next column, and I got a weird page and am now waiting on the page to load, On to my next point.
I try to have a schedual every night. I "higene routine" if you will.
During this time, I brush my teeth (given) and wash my face.
Now, brushing my teeth is something I do everyday, but washing my face before bed is something that I reserve for that night when I have proclaimed that I will start a new diet, do my homework, and go to bed at a decent hour. It might sound gross at first, but I don't tend to wash my face EVERY NIGHT before I go to sleep.
I wash my face in the mornings, in the shower (it counts!). And I wonder why I have bad skin **next point**.
During the summer, I can mostly find time between watching endless nick @ nite and falling asleep, to wash my face and all.
I have been doing well. I am proud of myself. Everynight, I brush my teeth, put my bands on, then I take in hand one of my HUGE arsenal of tubes promising clear skin and no black heads, and my loofa in the other hand and I proceed to scrub my face.
I start off with the loofa. I run warm water, get the loofa wet and lightly scrub over my face. Then, I pat my face dry and I apply my weapon of choice to blackheads. The mask. I place the liquid-mask on my face making myself actually look TAN compared to the liquid-paper white cream that is on my face.
I come back into my room and usually watch tv, or talk to someone on IM, or something, until the mask starts to REALLY burn. The tube says "do not exceed 5 minutes" but I never time myself, and I'm not dead, yet.
After my "approximate" 5 minutes, I go back to the bathroom, and I take the loofa and begin scrubbing this elmer's glue-type white (now paste) "cream" off of my face.
On commercials, you see the pretty girl with the stuff on simply splash her face, then it cuts to her already clear skin saying that it cleared her face off...Ahh, the American consumer...so gullable.
But, you can't just splash the water on your face. You literally have to SCRUB off this glue-like stuff attached to your dirt and oil, attached to your pores.
So after that, I apply yet ANOTHER gel to my face, that is supposed to clear my blackheads. Have you seen my blackheads leately. Yes you have...
I hate people with clear skin. They truely make me sick. What's worse than people with already flawless skin, is the fact that they feel the need to cake on makeup, to hide thier clear complextion.
If I had clear skin, I would NEVER wear make-up. Seriously, the only "make up" I would wear would be lip gloss. Actually, It wouldn't even have to be "lip gloss" it could just be chap-stick.
I would REALLY not wear make-up if I were blessed with clear skin. But, I'm not, and I wear make-up. What's worse? Not washing my face everynight to remove the makeup that covers my pimple infested face, thus creating MORE dirt and oil to get trapped in my bottomless pores.
Something I've been thinking about for the past few days:
My Future.
Ohh, how I loathe the tought of this, but since I use my blog to rant on and on about how my life is and how I wish my life was, and no one really cares, I'm going to attempt to work some shit out, but laying out some shit, and trying to sort through the shit, then stack it in a neat shitty pile...only to be knocked over into an even larger pile of shit.
I am 16. I will be 17 on August 13, 2004. Also, on Tuesday August 31, 2004, I will be at school. The school that I will be a senior at.
Ahh, this is the big word. "Senior".
For a while now, I've been looking forward to my senior year in high school. This is the year when I'm supposed to really start the good partying, take easy classes, and get the well-desserved senior parking.
I have said it before, and I'll say it again. I've been calling myself a "senior" since 3:09 on that fine, glorious day of May, when I was out of school. No exams to take, and no friendships to mend.
Truth is, again, that I don't really consider myself the next grade up, until about a week into that next grade.
It's kinda like when I have a birthday.I don't feel diffrent, and it takes me the better part of that year, to get used to saying "I'm blah blah".
Since I have been calling myself a senior already, there is a possiblity that the transisiton will--or already has--be much diffrent this year.
I'm looking forward to it, but at that exact same time, I don't want it to come.
I don't want senior year to come for 2 reasons.
1) It's school. Since kendergaten, I've hated school. It's the whole getting-up-in-the-morning thing. I've never liked it.
2) Senior year means my last year of High School. As much as I want it to be over, I don't want it to happen.
The past three years have been great. I've made new friends, and grown up. But, I'm afraid that I havn't grown up, enough. I might be one of the more mature people in my circle of friends, but that doesn't mean that I still can't stoop to making fun of Carrie for thinking that our school colors are changing...or making fun of Paula's "Jess Simpson" moment when she said "Do dolphins have ears?".
As much as I want to go to college, I don't want to leave high school. It's my little net. I know everyone. I don't have to really "change" in the sense of "change" that you have to make when you stop saying "when i grow up" to saying...."When I was younger".
I'm really scared about what I'm going to do with the next 50 years or so. I mean, say that to yourself. What are you going to do for the next 50 years? I have no friggin' clue. I really wish that I DID know what I want to do with my life. Only, on the topic of "rest of my life" I'm a true procrastinator at heart, and won't be deciding on a major any time soon.
That's another thing. I'm sad about this being my last year, and the fact that, eventually, I will have to grow up and leave home, and maybe one day get married and have to remind someone ELSE to take out the trash, instead of MY mother telling me 400 times, but I'm SOOO excited about college.
I'm "SOOO excited" about college in the same way that I'm "excited" about my senior year, meaning. I'm terrified.
College is, infact, the next step after graduation from high school. But that means that I'll ACTUALLY have to change and grow up, instead of talking about it, like a far-off event.
Why am I talking about this now? Like I said, I'm layin' some shit out...and eventually through a long, shitty process, it'll become yet another pile of shit, in my arsenal of piles 'o shit.
I am, though, looking very much forward to my next birthday. 16 has been good, but I think I can do better. "I'm 17" from Never Been Kissed keeps ringing in my head.
Please pray that my life won't turn out with my first "real" kiss being at the age of 25...but it CAN be to Michael Bartan-sp?. Douche, he's HOTT.
I'm going to stop writing about this, because it's depressing me. In my 17th year, I don't want to EVER use the word "Depressed"...so make me happy people!
I recently (meaning while I was ranting before, and so I typed a little phrase below the paragraph, so I could rant about something else) saw the music video for Maroon Five's song "She will be loved".
I heard the song on the radio, sometime before school got out, sitting at sonic waiting on my Reeses Blast. I thought it was pretty good. Good enough to write down on my journalism article I was working on, so I could download it later.
Then I saw the video.
I thought the song was good, and then I thought that I kinda understood it. But once I saw the video for it, I'm lost. Someone explain this to me, so that I can go to bed and stop writing about it.
OK it's 5:03 AM. My Norton Anti-Virus automated system scan has come on, I've read 19 issues of Observational Humor on ch.com, and I'm listening to Alica Keys' "If I 'ain't got you" for the third time in the past hour on VH1.
My cue for bed? I think so!
This was my list of phrases for topical rants::
Amish miss the microwavable pizza.
Emma's blog about what her blog's about.
Face masks--people with clear skin--overuse of makeup (MiMi y Faye Gillespie)
Observational Humor.--funnilly shit.
College Humor.com/busted Tee's..sarcastic, they're real popular
My future (college, Senior year, devine hatred for school) Marketing, never inventing things. Should I really wish that HS was over and want college so much?
Blog, and the importance of blog. The non-importance of Diaries
Spelling it "babies" instead of "babys"
kids in the hall. HAHA
she will be loved video..thought I got it..not really confused.
People readind the paper ar 4 PM. 7th Heaven, Simon and Ruthy, TV crappiness...non real --I guess that's why those writers are making millions of dollars...and I'm trying to figure out how to stretch my college money to it's extreame
Times I wish I had a better chair
Totally pumped about the new Hoobastank video...it will explain "The reason"

MY Chemical Romance:
I love thunderstorms. I don't know why. I've always liked them. At our old house, I used to sit outside on the porch swing and watch the rain come down. I used to smell the rain.
A lot of people think that it's not possible to smell the rain. I'm afraid, dear people, that you are wrong.
You can smell rain. You can smell it on it's way to your house. You can smell the rain.
Today, I didn't do anything. I went to bed at 5:45 AM. I absolutely could not sleep. I tried and tried, then tried again. But I just couldn't doze off.
I wrote a post last night, twice. I tried to post it but my dumb internet was being mean, and wasn't allowing it.
Both of the posts weren't my best work, I admit. But, for my dearest, constant readers, I will post the latter blog, because I know you care so much!
:::::
MY Chemical Romance...
Ahh, today has been quite good.
I got up around 11:30 when Sara called to go to the pool. I ate a quick bite, then I took a shower and Sara Arrived at my house JUST as I was getting ready to be ready. LOL.
We got to the pool, and we just chilled. It was fun times. I think we're going to the pool again, tomorrow. If Sara doesn't end up going, I'll probably go anyway, with the fam-damn-ly.
Ahh, I love sitting at the pool with a friend, and just chillin.
I was able to get a lot of shit off my chest today. I worked through some problems with Adam. Then when I got home (after a MUCH needed nap), I talked to Adam.
I didn't want to, but when I came back to my room after starting my laundry, he was talking to me.
I told him everything. Everything that had happend the past few days with him. It was his fault, though. After he asked me how I had been (since he hadn't bothered being on in a few days) and I said that I had been "Bad, but getting progresively better". He wanted to know what was wrong. I refused for a minute, then I was just like, "WTF? Why not just tell him. It's not like we SEE eachother everyday. It's not like it's HUGE big deal. I mean...". So then, he brought out the 'ol supportive shoulder and said, "You can tell me".
Once I typed "It's about you" I imagine he was curious to read my next sentences.
So after I explained to him that it wasn't MY FAULT this stuff was happening, and that I was sorry I was springing this on him right now, with his hopes of a relationship with this new "mystery girl". We talked for a little while longer. Right now, we're just gonna be friends (I think, we never really 'declared' it. But I'm afraid that with this out there...it's gonna mess up our friendship).
We talked a little while longer, just like always. We even talked about this new gal. I think next time I talk to him, I'm gonna ask who it is. Hum..
So, while Adam can now be reffered to again, with out doom befalling the person who utters his name, he is still on my shit list. But, Instead of being #1, he's falling, at a rapid pace. MAYBE one day he'll be completely off my shit list. Do I see that in the near future. Not really. Why? Because he still knows how to push my buttons. Do I want him to be off my list, soon. Yeah. I like talking to him. I like how I can tell him shit. I like how he can tell ME shit. I like how we can vent to one another. We're kinda like bro & sis. Which is why I think that it's gonna work out that we're friends, and nothing more (maybe ¿). But, I would like the oppertunity to see for myself.
I feel a LOAD better now. For the first time in my life, I was actually able to say my feelings, without real fear. I told him everything, knowing that he could block me, forget me, and never talk to me again. And, well, if he ends up doing that, his loss. I consider myself a cool gal. I've got GREAT friends. So if he wants nothing to do with me now. It's OK. I'll be fine. Just a few more days listening to my loud, angry music, I'll be good as new!
I was actually proud of myself. I spoke up for the first time in my life, without someone holding my hand.
Ahh, I'm growing up, I suppose. It's about time, I guess.
After that, I read Bobby's new blog. Bobby. Bob. What can I say about Fun Bobby? He's great. A great Prom date, too, I might add!
I got a link to Evan's blog page (again). After my pooter messed up a while ago, I lost it. So I was off to read some great blog from Evan JC! On Evan's blog, I saw a link to Christian's blog. YAY!
Christian is one of those people that I know, but probably wouldn't know me if I came up and slapped him across the face.
Christian seems like a pretty cool cat. He's real into music, and while I was reading his blog, and he was questioning his awkwardness, and said that people give him wierd looks when he pulls out of the MAHS parking lot blairing Rancid and Mars Volta, I was like YEAH! Mars Volta!!
Humm....
I'm feeling quite good right now. Only that I'm actually typing this blog on my pooter's wordpad.
My blogger has been messing up a lot lately. I think I'll run the good 'ole Norton Anti-Virus stuff, and see if I can fix the "bug". HAHA.
The past few days, I have begun-sp? to expand my music palette. I'm very happy with this.
Over the past few years, I have liked all of these bands, who have most recently "BURST" onto the music scene. Some of these people are what I like to call "sell-outs" because they lend thier GREAT song "Bohemian like you" to a stupid car commercial, where NO ONE gets to hear anything more than the "WOO HOO" part. But i'm not naming names...*cough DANDY WARHOLES*.
But yeah. I have now discovered some great bands, and I'm not sure if anyone has heard of any of them.
I will now use the AWESOME new blogger power to "bullet" these new bands.
- Something Corporate
- MCR (My Chemical Romance, not really new, just new to me)--Three cheers for sweet revenge!!!
- Tom Waits (You've gotta hear Georgia Lee!)
- Mars Volta
- The Teen Heros
- Built to Spill
- Modest Mouse (Just got a big hit out, "Float on", but "Good news for the people who love bad news" is a great song!
- Brand New
One other good thing that happend today, was I got a message from Ash on yahoo! Telling me that she was grounded, and would be back online Wed or Thurs of next week.
It made me feel better, because I've been worried about her. She also said that if I wanted, I could call her house to talk to her.
I'm always scared to call her house. I don't know why. It's just weird. I think it's because EVERY time I have EVER called to the cardboard box and tin roof, the Germ picks up. Maybe my luck will break, and she'll be SOOO bored that she'll pick up the phone when I call, on the first ring. Do ya think I have a chance? Humm..
I'm thinking about calling her on Monday.
I'm gonna be REALLY mad if mom and dad don't let me go see Emma this weekend. ERR. Sorry, I can't help but vent. It just pissed me off thinking about it. ERR.
Now, I'm tired from typing, and from the days events. I think I'll go eat something, and then brush my teeth, and go to sleep.
::::
So there you go, my devoted readers, last night's blog.
Now, on to today.
I really didn't do ANYTHING.
Since I went to bed at 5:45, I got up rather late, 1:30 to be exact. I had a missed call on my cell phone, that I thought was from Sara since we were going to go to the pool together, but was from a weird 877 number. OK. I ate something, took a shower, and beat my high score on Snood! Fun times.
Tomorrow, I am making the approzimate 38.6 mile trek down to Winston-Salem (actually just Salem) to visit one of my very devoted readers, Emma Jane Refvem.
I am VERY excited about this. Although, Emma, I'm sorry, I didn't get a cookie for you. I think I might make some tonight. If not, I'll buy you dessert tomorrow. Deal?
Right now, I am watching a movie called "Girls don't cry--they get even" on FOX FAMILY. It's really good. It's funny, too. I'm guessing it's from the early 90s.
I'm not really sure what to say now. So I guess that's my cue to continue the viewing of my movie, and probably post a little later. Look for my next boring post, soon!!

Internet and the Amish
This is just going to be another one of those posts where I ramble on and on about nothing.
Feel free to exit the window when you get too bored, which I'm sure, is anytime now.
Today, nothing really has happend.
I went to bed at 5:15 this morning (I'm just guessing it was 5:15...it was sometime after 5, I know that). Since I went to bed so late/early, I got up at 2:00 this afternoon. I really hate doing that. I think that tonight, I'm going to take a sleeping pill around midnight, that way there will be one of two outcomes.
1) I will fall asleep sometime around 12:30, and I'll get a good nights sleep, and wake up around 9 AM tomorrow.
OR
2) I'll fight the sleeping pill, end up staying up 'til 5 am, and let the cycle continue.
Today, when I got up, I knew that I had to go to Dr. G's at 4:45 today. You know what I really hate? I hate it when you have a real late appointment like that. I mean, it's a 4:45, so the time just looms over you the whole day. You can't really do anything, because your worried about making it to the doctor. Anyway, I knew that if I didn't take a shower then, that I would end up being rushed and take a shower at like 4. So, I got in the shower.
I washed my hair and I was rinsing the conditioner, and all of a sudden, my bathroom went pitch black (I don't have any windows in there. I was like WHAT ON EARTH? Thank goodness that I was getting ready to get out, anyway. So I finished rinsing my hair, about another minute, and got my towels and robe on.
Geez, You know hoe before I said that the idiots building the house next door kept digging up our lines? Well...the idiots had done it again. Err. I can't wait for this darn house to be built, it's getting on my nerves.
So yeah...it was 2:18 when I called 1-800-Power ON, and reported my outage. At 3:44, as I was sitting on my bed, listening to my cd player, and reading my 17 mag, the lights in my bathroom kicked back on, and my printer came on. YES! All I could think of was that parking attendant on the Ashlee Simpson show that said "UREKA..UREKA he's found himself". Even though I didn't loose my car on the P2 deck of the Knitting Factory, it felt as if that bald guy was gonna pop out and say that, to me. Ahh, glorious power, how I love thee.
Geez, I don't know how those Amish people do it. If I were those kids who get to leave when they're 16 to see if they want to leave, I'd run to the first place I saw a light, a REAL light, not a friggin' candle. I'd run to the first air-conditioning, running water, and microwave equipt place I saw, and stay there for the rest of my life. Ahh.
Seriously, those Amish don't know what they're missin'. They live in the back-woods (ok, so it's not really the back woods) of PA. Sorry people. I'd take my a/c and hot pockets over your milk-churning chores, any day. I wonder what Amish people think when they hear "Internet". I really do wonder. I wonder if they know what it is. What about "Space age technology". I bet they hear that and think that the sky is gonna fall or something.
Right now, I'm listening to Jamie Cullum. At first, I thought that this guy was a crappy wanna-be jazz singer when I heard him on VH1s INSIDE TRACK. But, I have since changed my mind. DEJA VU! WTF? that was weird. OK OK back to JC.
"All at sea". It's really good, if you ask me. I looked up his bio on VH1s site. Apparently, he's the biggest Jazz singer England has ever produced. Well...I don't know a lot about jazz..but I know I like this guy. So that's the bottom line.
Right now I'm talking to Emma on AIM. I've missed Emma this summer. I'm going down to visit her on Sunday. I think Sara's going, too. It'll be a nice little vacation from boredom. I've also gotta get Emma a cookie!! HEHE!
Ok, the time for my appointment is drawing near. I'm going to go now, and prepare for this next week of pain. Fun times.. *disoriented emotion*
I'm all at sea
Where no one can bother me
Forgot my roots
If only for a day
Just me and my thoughts
Sitting far away
Like a warm drink it seeps into my soul
Please just leave me right here on my own
Later on you could spend some time with me
If you want to, all at sea
I'm all at sea
Where no one can bother me
I sleep by myself
I drink on my own
I don’t speak to nobody
I gave away my phone
Like a warm drink it seeps into my soul
Please just leave me right here on my own
Later on you could spend some time with me
If you want to, all at sea
Now I need you more than ever
I need you more than ever now
If you don’t need it every day
But sometimes don’t you just crave
To disappear within your mind
You never know what you might find
So come and spend some time with me
And we will spend it all at sea
Like a warm drink it seeps into my soul
Please just leave me right here on my own
Later on you could spend some time with me
If you want to, all at sea
Ooooh
If you want to, all at sea
If you want to
The four stages of summer: The depression stage. **Best week ever?**
I'm not really sure what to type right now. It's 3:22 AM and I'm bored.
I've watched all of the I LOVE THE 90s that are out ('90-'95).
I have to say that year 95 is my favorite so far. It's got CLUELESS and stuff on it. Although, I think that the later 90s are going to end up being my favorites.
Tonight, I was talking to someone on IM and I said, "yeah...smooth move" and I was like HOLY SHIT!
I put my status on yahoo! this : 'If the phrase "Smooth move, exlax", doesn't make I LOVE THE 90s..something's WRONG'
haha. I got some pretty positive feedback from that one. I got a lot of "well...I bet around '98 some one will say it"...huummm...I guess we'll just have to wait and see!
After that, I was talking to 5 people on IM at the same time.
I don't think that I've ever done that before. It was tough.
I was talking to Sara, Jake (Sara's bf), BOBBY, Julia, and this guy named Brandon who IM'ed me outta no where and started talking to me...
My fingers sure did get a workout!
Geez.
On top of all these conversations, I was ATTEMPTING to break 100,000 on SNOOD. I did it. I'm not sure how, though.
So yeah...
After I beat SNOOD, I figured that solitare was a nice bet, because then I didn't have to keep pressing "p" to pause, and waiting for the score screen to go off, before I could talk to anyone.
Hum.
I was playing solitare, when my 'rumination' came back to me again. At one point in the 12,000 games that I played. I actually thought about getting 52 sets of playing cards. Having all of the cards in the exact same order, and playing solitare with them. Just to see if inside the 52 sets of cards, and 52 seperate games, I could figure out if, infact, every game of solitare is able to be won. **wow, Mrs. Carson would KILL me for that hecka run on sentence**
Only, I would probably find the space time contium, instead of the answer to my question.. (does that thing REALLY exist, or is it just a plot to confusing all of us Ashton fans, who actually sat through the dumbest movie ever made?)
Speaking of Mrs. Carson, I'm thinking that I'll get on her "good side" this year since I have her for a whole year of journalism.
How might I get on her "good side", you might ask? I'll actually submit ideas for articles **I'm actually brain storming an article which will help potiential MAHS voters choose a party, and maybe a candidate to vote for**, I'll actually turn in my articles on time.
But I draw the line there. I WOULD say that I'll quit saying, "May I use the rest room?" and going to the art room for 30 minutes, but that class can get pretty boring sometimes...and you've gotta love those art kids!
I'm feeling better now. I had a bad night. It was for one particular reason. One word: Adam.
For those of you who know of the story, I think that you will understand my nondesire to hear that name, or hear refrence to him, for the rest of my life.
For those of you who DON'T know the story. Ask someone who does. If you ask me...doom will befall you, and those around you. So save yourself the pain...and you just don't wanna go there, believe me.
I read Emma's blog, shortly before starting this post. The part about Joey running away, really hit home. DUDE! I was there! It was Halloween night, and it had been Inside out day, that day, and you were wearing your jeans and shirt from GAP inside out (Atleast I THINK that's right) and we were chillin' at your house. And I was weirded out, because I wasn't used to seeing Emma's mom outside of school. And she was all like...nice...and I was just like...whoa there.
Yeah.
Emma, I'm sorry your sad about all that stuff. And I'm real sorry Will is moving to California (any chance it'll be VACAVILLE???). But, you'll see him, like you said, at holidays and stuff. It's all good Emma! You can go to Stanford and then you'll BOTH be in sunny Cali! I'm missin' ya BIG TIME gal!! Sunday, I guess I'll call you when I get to the campus, and be like EMMA COME GET ME I DON'T KNOW WHERE I AM. So just keep your cell on!!
It is now 3:46, and Julia just got offline. She was the only person I was talking to this time. I'm not really sure what to do with myself. I've already tried going to sleep tonight, twice.
Tomorrow I have to go see Dr. G. (or today). Only normally I don't really mind going to see him. They just look at my teeth, say "Wear your bands like superwoman" and I leave. Only, tomorrow, I'm going in for a seperator. OUCHES. I can feel the pain, now. It's gonna hurt like a mo-fo. I have to wear it for a week. How much does that suck? TOO MUCH, that's how much!
Hum..
I'm listening to "Anthem of our dying day" by Story of the year.
At first, I didn't like this song. But it's good, once you give it a chance.
I havn't talked to Ashley in a few days. It's really starting to worry me. I saw her at school last Monday, getting our scheduals fixed. I was talking like 400 mph. I think I weirded out Betty, too. After running my mouth REALLY fast I did manage to get out a "Hello Mrs. Gilreath, how are you", but only after she said hello, first.
Everytime I type the word "hello" I ALWAYS put a w on the end. So I type it "hellow" then I have to backspace and make it hello (I DID IT AGAIN!)
That was just a little something for you to know. So the next time your getting ready to type me a message, and you say "hello **again**", just think that I'm gonna type "hellow" then backspace.
Now I'm listening to "A favor house Atlantic" by Coheed and Cambria. "Good eye, sniper. I shoot, you run"...WTF? I'm not sure, either. I've read the lyrics. But I'm still not sure exactly how they "mean" it. Hum..
Again, I don't know what to type right now. I really don't.
I am watching bug juice.
HOLY CRAP. I just looked up after I typed that sentence, and I was like DUHHH COURT. I was talking 'bout ASH!.
GEEEZ.
Ok so I saw Ash last Monday, and I havn't talked to her since. Not online. Nothing. It really is starting to worry me. I thought that she might be grounded. So then I was like... OK OK, that's why. But it's starting to bother me that this morning (yesterday morning) I sent Mikel an IM that said, "Hey Mikel! Can I ask ya a quick question?" and he didn't respond. Then about 5 minutes later, he got off.
He hasn't been on the rest of the day.
Everytime I talk to Julia, I ask her if she's heard from Ash. And she says that she hasn't.
WTF? Ashley? Have you fallen, and can't get up? *yes, it's a tie into I love the 90s*
Seriously. I'm missin' ya, gal!
It is now 4:00 AM.
Geez. I feel like I'm on Dragnet. I used to hate that show. Urg. Now I think that it's not too bad. But maybe that's because it only comes on TV once in a blue moon.
I was just thinking. I bet that whoever is reading this. Has already stopped. They were just like "Court's on drugs" and quit reading after the "hellow" part.
Wow.
"Your eyes tell the stories of a day you wish you could
Recall the moments that once have
Retrack the footsteps that brought us to this favor
I wouldn't ask this of you
Good eye, sniper
I shoot, you run
The words you scribbled on the walls
With the loss of friends you didn't have
I called you and the time is right
Are you in or are you out?
For them all to know the end of us all
Run quick, they're behind us
Didn't think we'd ever make it
This close to safety in one piece
Now you wanna kill me in the act of what could maybe
Save us from sleep and what we are
Good eye, sniper
Now I shoot, you run
The words you scribbled on the walls
With the loss of friends you didn't have
I called you and the time is right
Are you in or are you out?
For them all to know the end of us all
Bye bye beautiful
Don't bother to write
Disturbed by your words and they're calling all cars
Face step, let down.
Face step, step down.
The words you scribbled on the walls
With the loss of friends you didn't have
I called you and the time is right
Are you in or are you out?
For them all to know
Bye bye beautiful
Don't bother to write
Disturbed by your words and they're calling all cars
Face step, let down.
Face step, step down.
Bye bye beautiful
Don't bother to write
Disturbed by your words and they're calling all cars
Face step, let down.
Face step, step down."
..gotta love that Coheed & Cambria....I think...

"It's for pre-teens who are into pre-bondage" - Michael Ian Black on slap-it bracelts
"I love the 90s, yes, it's true. I love the 90s, HOW 'BOUT YOU?"
Ahh, the above was my lame attempt to bring back the "spirit" cheer from grade school, in the form of a cool/lame-o chant about my love for the 90s.
Ladies and Gentlemen, boys and girls, go now, surround your televison set, and sit down to watch I love the 90s on VH1.
Today, nothing really happened to me.
I went to sleep around 5 AM, after having a weird conversation with a guy named "Kenny" who did one of those little searches on Yahoo!..but it was all good. I think it's fun talking to complete strangers sometimes. You can feel free to be yourself, 100% (Pure love, LOL).
So, after going to sleep at 5 AM, I was awoken by my dad yelling though my door that there was someone on the phone for me.
I got up, and picked up the phone. Mrs. Semones was calling me to tell me that there was an 'opening' for me to get my classes changed, and could I be there at 11?. Well...it's only 10:15, and I've only slept 5 hours...but HEY, if this will prevent me from getting up before noon on Thursday..sure.
So I hopped in the shower, and I dried like, the top part of my hair, and threw on some clothes. I got to the school, and I went to the guidance office, and Mrs. S gave me a clipboard with the master list and I sat down to look at what I could take instead of H. Spanish 3.
I look up, and WHO DID I SEE? One, Ashley Gilreath!
I was REALLY excited to see her, because we havn't talked on the internet in like, 5 days. Only I was SO excited, I forgot to ask her where she's been, and just talked about 30 miles a minute, and somehow got "Oh, Hello Mrs. Gilreath" in there somewhere. I'm going through "Ash withdrawl"...
So I got called back to Mrs. Refvem's little office, and I met the new guy who is, I GUESS, taking Mr. Dickenson's place. Cool beans. We settled into figuring out my classes, and it was very pleasent. Fun times.
After that, I just came home, and chilled. I helped dad do stuff around the house, like get up the trash, and fix a door. Then I went and got a $5 pizza from Little Ceasar's..yummy!
That's about all of today's happenings.
I talked to Emma today, and I asked if she would like a visitor, and she said YES! And I was like YES! I've been missing Emma. I'm pumped that I found good directions on Mapquest, and dad told me that tomorrow he'd sit down and make sure I knew how to get there (confuse me more, so I'll ignore him, and go by the computer directions), and I told him that I wanted to go down Sunday, and he said that that should be fine. YAY! I've gotta get Emma a cookie! I think that I'll go to the Cookie Patch for that, in Pilot, on my trip down there Friday. EMMA! They're yummy, I PROMISE!!
I'm not sure what to write now. I'm taping I love the 90s, and I'm watching it (DUHH)..it's pretty good. Hal Sparks is commenting on it...and so is Michael Ian Black...so you know it's gotta be good!
OK OK, I'll stop boring you now.
OO Emma, I TIRED to leave a comment on your blog, but it wouldn't let me...WTF? I dunno! I'll probably call your cell Friday or Saturday (If I don't talk to you on the net) and see what time I need to be there!!
ALMOST forgot...here's my class list for this year:
1 - Advanced Models and Fuctions (Belton)
2 - English 4 (Rodolfi-sp?)
3 - World History (Hodges)
4 - Journalism 3 (Carson)
1 - NO CLASS! (YAY!!!)
2 - Sports and Entertainment Marketing (Joyce)
3 - Show Choir (D-dawg)
4 - Journalism 4 (Carson)

Yesterday...
After all this drama with my brother (I hate him...and I'm ready for him to go back to college..'nuff said). So I was sitting here at my pooter, and I had just finished my blog, and I was going to take a nice, long, relaxing, much needed nap.
Well, the phone rang, and I picked it up. It was Carrie!
I had seen Carrie, only the night before, when Sadie and I went to Chile Verde for dinner before the drive-in.
She said she'd call and we'd go see a movie or something. So een though I thought I needed a nap, it was OK because I kinda didn't want to stay at home.
So we both decided that we were going to take a quick shower and she'd be at my house around 5 pm.
She got here, and we were on our way for our 'big city' adventure.
We stopped in Pilot to get gas, and just ate a quick bite at Wendy's. Once we were back on the road, we just kinda talked. It was nice, though. We didn't talk about anyone. We just talked about how our summer is going, and what all we had been doing, and how much we were looking forward to senior year, and all of our senior perks.
Once we got to Winston, we tried the first Charmike's (I have NO CLUE how to spell that) and they didn't have Sleepover (the movie we wanted to see) so then, we went to the other Charmike's (after a quick getting lost part **no ones falt**) and they're power was off, so we decided to go to the mall, and just walk around and stuff.
That was kinda fun, after the mall we came home and then I came in the house, told ma about the night, ate a little something and went to sleep...I'm gonna say...around 12:30?
Alrighty, there was my day...
When I got home, I also had this message on my pooter:
emmarefvem: 10 things i hate about you?
Auto response from gUrliEguM cHEweR: I hate this town "with the fire of a thousand suns"...hum...if you can guess what movie that's from...I'll give you a cookie!:-D
emmarefvem: i still maintain he kicked himself in the balls
YAY! Emma gets a cookie!!

Save the drama for your mama, please
Ahh, prof that people really DO read my blog (Kidding, I know people read my blog, plenty...and I love you ALL!)! Ohh how loved I feel! AND How cool it was to come home today, and see my message on my desktop from Emma. She kinda answered my question! Although, I'm still not sure what to suggest for dinner when I'm out on the town in Italy, just kiddin'.
Fun times.
Today was good, then fun, then REALLY fun, then aweful, then horrible, and now, it's progressing quite nicely back up to "bearable"...more on the happenings of the day, later!
"El sol will come out, manana, bet your bottom dollar, got an AFRO!!!" - Mac, Spanish 2 with Pani..fun times (geez the impact of I love the 80s will never be able to be truly measured.)

I finished my post, an insignificant post about food, and I decided that I would read Brad's blog, since it had been about 3 days since I had last checked up on his happenings at GSE.
I had actually remembered reading how he "broke a few rules" that day at GSE, and I remember thinking, "Brad? Brad Gentry? Are you sure??" but today, I was informed of his lastest rule-breaking spree though the halls of Barefoot at Meredith.
Reading his blog I was intrigued by his story. I could see Brad being paranoid walking the halls and wondering if/and/or when he would be caught.
At the end, I felt so bad for the poor fella. I attempted to leave a comment on his blog, saying that I had follwed his trip at GSE, and that I was sorry that he was now home. nfortunately, my computer hates me, and wouldn't let me leave a message. Darn these machines...
So Brad, incase you read my blog, I'm sorry your back at home now from GSE. I'm sure you would have had a blast for the next three weeks...I'm not sure if it'll help ya feel better...but I'm sure students at GS in the past, have done worse, much worse. So don't take it so hard Brad.
I'm not sure if Brad would like me to post a link to his blog on my blog...so for the like...2 people who read this...a link to Brad's page can be found on Emma's blog page...
Since this has been such a bad story...I decided I'd add my touch to make the scene a little more funnilly, with a cool song and a sad song. I couldn't decide...so I will post both..
Tenacious D - Wonderboy
High above the mucky-muck
Castle made of cloud...
There sits Wonderboy
Sitting oh-so-proudly.
nothing much to say
When you're high above the mucky-muck... Yeaaauh! Yeuh!
CHORUS:
WonderBooyeee!
What is the secret of your power?!
WonderBoooyeeeee!
Won't you take me far away from the mucky-muck, man?
now it's time for me to tell you about Young Nastyman
arch-rival and nemesis of Wonderboy
With powers *comparable* to WONDERBOY!
What powers you ask?
I dunno.. how about the power of flight,
that do anything for ya?
Its levitation holmes.
How about the power to kill a yak, from 200 yards away,
With MIND bullets
Thats telekenisis Kyle
...How about the power to move *you*?
History of Wonderboy and Young Nastyman...
Rigga Goo-goo, Rigga Goo-Goo ga
A secret to be told
A gold chest- to be bold!
And Blasting forth with three-part harmony!
Yeah!
CHORUS
Well Wonderboy and Young Nastyman joined forces
They formed a band
The likes of which have never been seen!
And they call themselves Tenacious D
That's right-
ME!
and KG!-that's me
Were, now-ow
TenaAaaaaaaaAacious D!
Come fly with me!
Fly!
CHORUS
Oh, Take my hand, Young Nasty man, and we'll fly.
Bring out your broad sword. Theres the hydra.
Slice his throat and grab his scrote.
You take the high road.
I'll take the low.
There!!! The crevarce!
Fill it!
With your Magic juice!
The Get up kids - The most depressing song.
A long way from home, lost by an echo
you'd never have known.
I've got pictures to prove I was there,
But you don't care.
Here's me over seas
'Cross the pond by the dover peaks.
I've smuggled myself into new nationalities,
Think you'd be proud of me?
There's room to believe
Out of sight, out of mind, out of reach
Start over,
It's no way to begin.
A long way from home, lost by an echo
You'd never have known.
I've got pictures to prove I was there,
But you don't care.
There's room to believe
Out of sight, out of mind, out of reach.
Start over,(start over)
It's no way to begin
There's room to believe
Out of sight, out of mind, out of reach.
Start over, (start over)
It's no way to begin,
Way to begin,
Way to begin.
BTW: I know it's hard to read lyrics, if you don't know the song, so if anyone knows how to put a link to the music file on my computer, to my blog...please tell me! Music makes the world go 'round!!
