My Mood:
Pay no attention to the picture...just the music
..and because I HATE listening to a new song without lyrics...here::
If I could make it rain today
And wash away this sunny day down to the gutter
I would
Just to get a change of pace
Things are getting worse but I feel a lot better
And that's all that really matters to me
Amy hit the atmosphere
Caught herself a rocket ride out of this gutter and
She's never coming back, I fear
But any time it rains,
She just feels a lot better
And that's all that really matters to me
We've waited so long for someone to take us back home
It just takes so long
And meanwhile the days go drifting away
And some of us sink like a stone
Waiting for mothers to come
There has to be a change, I'm sure
Today was just a day fading into another
And that can't be what a life is for
The only thing she said was she feels a lot better
And that's all that really matters to me
We've waited so long for someone to take us back home
It just takes so long
And meanwhile the days go drifting away
And some of us sink like a stone
Waiting for mothers to come
All I really know is
I want to know
And all I really know is I don't want to know
All I really know is
I want to know
And all I really know is I don't want to know

I got tagged...
1) The future freaks me out. A lot. I have no clue what I want to be, and I don't want to grow up and put my big girl pants on..ever.
2) I'm a neat freak, especially when it comes to my desk. Everything has to be sitting straight, perpendicular(is this the right word for it?) to the other items on my desk. And nothing can ever overlap. Over lapping is messy.
3) I HATE the sound of a vacuume, but I cannot stand a dirty floor.
4) I always have a song going on in my head. Some other people say this, too. But I literally ALWAYS have something going on. And it's really random a lot of times. (Right now it's "Africa" by Toto)
5) I hate talking to friends back home on the phone because I always get really sad. My thinking: if I talk to them on IM it's like they are down the hall from me or something.
6) I cannot park a car straight. I'm always a little crooked (or a lot) and I almost ALWAYS hit the curb.
I know Kathryn tagged me, but she's the only one I know who checks this thing, so I'm not tagging anyone.
Optional 7) I can't spell very well (even though I'm a junior in college) so, forgive me.

I want MY bedroom (and bathroom)
You know what I miss most about home?
I miss the nights like the one I'm having right now. The nights when I just want to stay up all night and look at stupid stuff on the internet, be able to flush the toilet whenever I want, and most importantly, be able to sing at the top of my lungs until I don't have a voice anymore.
So, since I can't belt out the Jason Mraz song "Absolutely Zero", I will post the lyrics and hope that someone else appreciates singing at the top of their lungs at 4:40 am just for shits and giggles.
(youtube is being stupid...but if you would like to see Mraz breakin' it down, youtube him and see the AZ video...it's awesome.
Lyrics, as promised:
You. You were a friend.
You were a friend of mine I let you spend the night.
You see, it was my fault. Of course it was mine.
I'm too hard at work.
Have you ever heard of anything so absurd ever in your life?
I'm sorry for wasting your time.
Who am I to say this situation isn't great?
When it's my job to make the most of it
Of course I didn't know that it would happen to me.
Not that easy.
Hey. What's that you say?
You're not blaming me for anything.
Well, that's great, but I don't break that easy.
Does it fade away?
So, that's why I'm ... I'm apologizing now
For telling you I thought that we could make it
I just don't get enough to believe that we've both changed.
See who am I to say this situation isn't great?
It is my time to make the most of it
Of course I didn't know that it would happen to me.
Not that easy, no.
No, no no.
If all along the fault is up for grabs,
Why can't she have it?
If it's for sale, what is your offer?
I will sell it for no less than what I bought it for.
Pay no more than absolutely zero.
Well, neither one of us deserves the blame,
Because opportunities moved us away.
It's not an easy thing to learn to play
A game that's made for two--that's you and me.
The rules remain a mystery.
See how it's easy?
So, who am I to say this situation isn't great?
When it's our time to make the most of it,
How could we ever know that this would happen to me?
Not that easy, no.
No ...
When all along the fault is up for grabs, and there you have it.
Well, it's for sale--go make your offer.
Will I sell it for no less than what I bought it for me?
Pay no more than absolutely zero?

I don't know...I just love that song ^^^^^ (brownie points to whoever figures it out first!)
I'm just really bored, REALLY peppy, and really need to write a humanities paper right now.
As much as I hate to admit it...Jon Thomas was right. It really helps to write papers if you continually write. Or just write out what you're thinking in you head.
Damn.
Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand. That is all??
Stop this train
I wanna get off and go home
again
cant take the speed
it's movin in
I know i cant
but honestly wont someone
stop this train
Don't know how else to say it
dont wanna see my parents go
one generations length away from
findin life out on my own
Come on Stop this train
I wanna get off and go home
again
cant take the speed
it's movin in
I know i cant
but honestly wont someone
stop this train
so scared of gettin older
im only good at being young
so i play the numbers game
i find a way to say that
life has just begun
had a talk with my old man
said help me understand
he said turn 68
you'll renegotiate
dont stop this train
dont for a minute change the place youre in
dont think i couldnt ever understand
oh, i tried my hand
John , honestly
we'll never stop this train
Once in awhile
when it's good
it will feel like it should
and they're all
still around
and you're still safe and sound
and you don't miss a thing
til you cry as you're driving
away in the dark
singing
Stop this train
I wanna get off and go home
again
cant take the speed
it's movin in
I know that i cant
cuz now i see
I'll never stop this train
never gonna stop this train
never gonna stop this train
