La la Lie

I've been putting quite a few songs as posts lately.

Is it that I just can't write what I really think? Or is it that human emotion is better expressed through song? Like, a universal language.

Why do I think I can find the hidden meanings (or connections) within songs, but I can never understand poetry? Aren't songs (in a sense) just poems put to music?

I had another point that I thought would weave all of the above thoughts together, but it just kinda fell out of my head a minute ago. Wow, that's been happening a lot lately.

Anyway....off to stare at my Lit. readings, and then Sparknote all of the poems....
