"Marching Bands Of Manhattan"
If I could open my arms
And span the length of the isle of Manhattan,
I'd bring it to where you are
Making a lake of the East River and Hudson
If I could open my mouth
Wide enough for a marching band to march out
They would make your name sing
And bend through alleys and bounce off all the buildings.
I wish we could open our eyes
To see in all directions at the same time
Oh what a beautiful view
If you were never aware of what was around you
And it is true what you said
That I live like a hermit in my own head
But when the sun shines again
I'll pull the curtains and blinds to let the light in.
Sorrow drips into your heart through a pinhole
Just like a faucet that leaks and there is comfort in the sound
But while you debate half empty or half full
It slowly rises, your love is gonna drown [4x]
Your love is gonna drown [4x]
Your love is gonna...

Opportunity
What if you thought that you were perfect for something...and then you were never given a chance to prove that you were?
I'm lucky enough to have been given two AMAZING opportunities and I cannot wait to see what's going to come of them.
First...I'm an RA...and call me a dork, but I'm SOOO proud of myself for this accoplishment.
Second...this morning I was given a bid to join Alpha Xi Delta Sorority...and I've been smiling all day.
I know how lucky I am, and I am going to make the MOST of it!!

It happend again.
Back story:
I'm in a Human Resorce Management class right now with my most favoritest teacher at UNCA, Dr. Cole.
Dr. Cole is Irish...which just makes him fun.
In my HRM class, there are two international students; one from Denmark and one from Germany.
Today in class, we were talking about fear in the work place. Is it a good thing or a bad thing? Is it a motivator or a freezer?
Dialogue:
Dr. Cole: "It's interesting that we have a student from Denmark in class...during the second world war, the Danes were concerned about their food. They were afraid that if the Nazis took over Denmark.."
The German Guy: "I'm sorry"
The class: "HAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA"
Seriously...the funniest thing ever. We never got back on topic...we could NOT stop cracking up.
Ok...soon maybe I'll write about my life.

"I almost 'ROFL'ed"
So, I'm sitting at the staff meeting (RAs) tonight with the coolest people ever! And we're all laughing WAAAAAY too much and not getting anything done.
Back story:
There's this guy, Lemar. He's another RA on my hall. He's black. He's hilarious. This year, he decided to change his name from his name Issac (his first name) to Lemar (his middle name) to "return to his roots."
Now that you know that..
Scene: Sitting in Mark's apartment (Located DIRECTLY under my room, three floors down) the CD's residence.
The Staff: We're all sitting around...on the couches, the floor and random chairs.
The Characters:
Neal Beckett...who has known Lemar since freshman year (they're juniors).
Lemar...is sitting in a chair accross the room, literally, complete opposite sides of the room.
Mark: Dead center of the room.
ACTION!
Neal: "Yeah, well, my buddy Colin is the biggest racist you've ever met, Issac!"
Lemar: "I know you didn't just call me Issac!!!!"
Mark (the CD): DOUBLED OVER LAUGHING.
The Staff: FALLING ON THE FLOOR LAUGHING.
It took a while to get back on topic after that.
I hope you laughed at that...and got it.
OMG.

"Here's a bus stop instead of Saint Peter's" - REM
Ok, so I don't think Dr. Cole is going to find this.
It's ok...we all know he's missing out.
Haha.
I've got to update...but I just had a final this morning and had to drive to Hickory...and I'm tired (and lazy)..
